Most people's problems in life stem from having too little. Too little time, too little money, too little freedom...Why would anyone sympathize with a man who is constantly whining and crying because the source of all the problems in his life is having too much.
He's got too much food, too much free time, too much attention, too much unwarranted affection from his fans and he's been given far too much money for so little effort...I'm not going to waste my energy feeling bad for someone whose life is so brimming with excess that he literally needs to invent new drama on a regular bases to stave off boredom.
Boogie is so spoiled and stupid he doesn't understand that he can't just throw temper tantrums and lay down guilt trips on the world at large to get what he wants, which convinces me all the more that his parents bowed to his every greedy whim. He demands you see him as a nice guy, he berates you for questioning him, he lectures you for judging his actions and now he belittles and insults you into feeling sorry for him, because if you don't; you need help.
I also can't help but notice how he gets absolutely stuck on certain phrases. He'll repeat them with the exact wording and intonation over and over. "Should never have been in that situation." is the one I keep noticing. He repeats it like a mantra and constantly suggests that others are saying it that exact same way to him all the time.
I dunno, it's just really weird, it's like he gets a phrase stuck in his head the way most of us get songs stuck in ours.
