I think another big turn off is his clear insecurity nowadays, when I was going through his vods to compare them to I ended up watching one of hid old ones and not feeling the need to click away. He was way more focused and secure and there was way less ‘pity dear old me’. Of course, I don’t watch any youtubers right now, so I don’t know what’s really ‘good’ by todays standards, but I do know that he is very off putting nowadays, because he clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing (as he has said himself) so why bother listening to his opinions? It’s not even his opinions, he just reads out the top comment on twitter (disgusting site). I can do that myself. Like some peeps have said before it’s gaming content, that is the only thing that’s not drenched in his self pity after all. Another option is do all those dramatic bs vids that kodbehindcamera and mckiggyjiggy do, apparently people watch that. Problem is, when you look at that francis conparison video, he somehow can’t act anymore either without radiating insecurity and a ‘Dear god I hope they find this funny and I get views’ attitude. He has zero creativity and no sense of humor. I think listening to his fans is his only option, like pointed out before, that creates better content. Maybe, he should ask them a bit more. Like I said before effort and consistency is key to succes. So find one category. Stick to that. Put in effort and consistency and MAYBE he can keep a few of his subs.
