I tried Mountain Dew once, and it is distgustingly sweet. Same with Dr. Pepper which is another favourite for People of Super Size. And I actually like soda. But Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper are both a hard never again. Which also makes me wonder, if they are even sweeter in the States, as there is the claim that everything in the States contains more sugar compared to Europe for example.
