He takes the easiest option and just decides to do nothing. Hes well aware of how fucked up his body is due to his weight and lifestyle and rather than do anything he exploits it as a way for others to feel bad for him and to take pity. He relies heavily on medication and living a sedentary lifestyle so he cant feel any immediate negative effects on his life for being a fat fuck. Boogie is crossing the threshold at where he could make some changes to affect his health in some way, but most of it is too late. One bad medical episode is gonna fuck his world up and he would be none the wiser to think it would ever happen to him. At this point Boogie is gonna either end up like Life by Jen or keep on getting worse and worse like Jack Scalfani.
