I've watched Amateur boxing where guys are just wandering out into the ring with their hands by their sides by round 3, not because they've taken a beating but because they were fucked from the physical exertion of constantly throwing punches while moving and keeping their guard up.

Wings is still fat, but I think he's built up his cardiovascular strength massively. Boxing ironically is probably the perfect outlet for him.

I wonder if whoever was training him just decided to not try and restrict Wings Calorie intake while he was actually doing the work. If that's the case once he stops training he's going to balloon.
 
Alright, reel tawk - Jordie looked really good in that fight, he took it seriously and it shows. The best part of the fight tho was still the short check, i was howling at that bit.
 
I physically cannot fathom how someone would get so fucking fat. I occasionally think I'm too large, but then I look at people who are the size of fucking fridges and I just can't fathom how.

Why are you wasting your limited funds on this boxing match? Expected Wings victory. It seems like everyone knew that if the fight happened (which seemed unlikely, Boogie must pretty desperate) he would take it.

It makes me a little sad though because it dawns on me that this might be the closest thing we ever get to Wings fighting DSP.
Not to seem unappreciative, it's just that once a man gets a taste of out of shape lolcows punching each other it makes them crave the hard stuff.

God I wish Wings and DSP would fight, you don't even know.

Plus even in the tweet he says he thinks he came out negative in cash. You know a lie is egregious when even Boogie can't say it without inserting weasel words.

Pretty sure that's the case. It might be a cliche, but there's a reason you absolutely have to have a killer instinct to fight.

I wonder if Boogie thought that ALL of the professional, pre-bout scuffs that happen are just for attention. Professional fighters generally want to kill their opponent and yesterday's slaughter is what happens when one fighter doesn't.


On the flipside, Wings obviously took it somewhat serious and everyone saw the contrast.

No shit. I was joking with a friend about an emergency response plan because I assumed they'd be goosed 15 seconds in. That's where expectations should have been, not a God damn masterclass. I've said this already, but the only thing that could have made Wings even more like the gigachad he is would have been to get a KO. It's a completely unreasonable thing to expect, and we borderline got that with the standing counts.

On a schizonote, there's definitely a good short story in all this about Wings getting a taste for blood and becoming a conqueror.

HARD agree, I'll just address him directly here because we all know he reads this thread obsessively. Boogie, you are the actual antithesis of Kaufman. He was original and fully committed to his bits, they didn't fall apart with the prod of a finger and devolve into 'LOL guise i'm just doing a bit'. Here's a bit of comedy advice that you desperately need: if you feel the desire to explain to people that it's a bit, then it's a bad bit and not funny.

It's fucking hilarious to me that he's already raging at Sunny, like not even 24 hours after this event that he's sooooo proud of himself for. 'Fuck all the haters' and all that shit-talk but it's really obvious to me how deeply affected he is by this, BTW definitely had ego death recently right? Social anxiety and all that, but I honestly think he might have actually been legitimately humiliated in front of all those people this time. I would not be surprised if he did more drugs with his shaman in the coming months, not even a little. Also I predict instead of turning this into any kind of turn-around redemption, there are a whole fuckload of 'cheat meals' in his immediate future.
