imo the political shit is enough to be a major thorn in it's side. one of the main things about bojack to me, that really clicked badly, was the episode about (hopefully i remember right) his mom forgetting him. then she says something he thought was important, but wound up seeing it on the door behind him, and having that doubt set in which prevents any form of solace from it. that shit can really fucking ring with people who've experienced similar shit, or severely fear it, and is the kind of shit where you go "hug mom/whoever asap" irl. but then, if you're a writer getting fucking paid at least minimum wage, and have gone through that kind of shit irl, or have just did minimum work to see people, then if you leave that room, and somebody outside talks about muh misogyny or any political shit mostly for that matter, you either could not give one less of a fuck and/or potentially lash out badly verbally or physically. it's retarded to have life loss conditions essentially for your mental state while also being a "conservatives lmao amirite bluesky?"https://youtube.com/watch?v=SocL7NERZxMIt is evident that Mr. Peanutbutter was initially intended to serve as the main antagonist, with audiences expected to dislike his character during the first season. However, the writers appeared to reconsider this approach, perhaps realizing that he was the only character perceived as a positive figure. It seems that Mr. Peanutbutter was originally designed to function as an anti-conservative strawman, representing a stereotype often associated with actors and comedians such as Tim Allen.
whatThis explains why I don't watch this show.: https://youtube.com/watch?v=SVnHPfbTkCQ
compared to the sopranos bojack is a toddler and the sopranos is prime mike tysonall in all, to compete as a story for adults, bojack is really low tier and is mistakenly placed above dozens of others. at least Ugly Americans had more interesting animation and character designs.
druckman is a cuck and made a shitty game lolololSomeone tried to compare bojack to Duckman and they both always felt like apples to oranges. Duckman has this energy to it even if it’s not your thing.
I suppose they have similar main characters but they are nothing alike. Duckman is very fast paced and irreverent, and the only character it actually explores is the main man himself. Not to mention it has a very gritty 90s visual style that does laps around Bojack.Someone tried to compare bojack to Duckman and they both always felt like apples to oranges. Look at how lovingly crafted these covers are, too. These look sick. I wish the actual complete series set was designed like these.
"Male seahorse" and "which is a thing" really over-explain the joke. They should have trusted their viewers to understand seahorse reproduction. This explains why I don't watch this show.: https://youtube.com/watch?v=SVnHPfbTkCQ
Most of the show was just making a bunch of outdated references with some emotional moments sprinkled in. I enjoyed it but you can't really act as if this show is deep when it only made a few episodes worth of content that actually dealt with anything. The view from halfway down didn't win anything because it was just some mid-tier commentary on suicide and death. Sure it was a good episode but it's not that good. This was quite possibly the most millennial show ever made.
Lolsorandum humor
Everyone is a sociopath
"Whoa there buddy did you just do a heckin misogyny?"
"Do better."
I did too. Wish it wasn't written by millennials and focused on the more emotional moments but that's the price of comedy.I enjoyed the show
I enjoyed it at times. Nihilism and cynicism aren't themes I tend to watch so I never watched all episodes. Animal puns and visual gags were clever but everyone got a happy ending except for Bojack who was a punching bag. IIRC at the end of the series he was repentant when he moved back home and humbled himself to teach acting at a local college. Apparently that's not good enough so he had to be canceled and then he died. Or not, depending on how you read the ending. I could be wrong in my assessment since I didn't watch all seasons but the writers really seemed to hate their titular character and believed there is no redemption for him, or anyone.I enjoyed the show
2 words first amendment dudeAre you faggots seriously having a seethefest at some cartoon that ended like a decade ago? You losers desperately need hobbies.
