I work a wagie job and got into an argument with a customer who claimed Blue collar crimes involve check fraud and money laundering. When I tried to tell him those were White Collar crimes he chimped out and told me, "my cell mate was in prison for check fraud and he was classified as blue Collar crime." Tried to Google an info graph to show him and he said, "Google ain't reliable people lie on there."
Color me shocked that people lie on the Internet. Guy is a streetsweeper with gold front teeth. Claims he's got multiple college degrees, and a PhD. I really believe him considering where he lives.
Regardless question is how many of you knew the difference between White and Blue Collar crime or knew the origin of the terms without Googling it?
