Again - it's not about the snow. It's about the fact that there's freezing rain expected for huge swathes of this storm which will absolutely decimate power lines and leave people without heating when the temps are expected to be at or below 0 F.Americans quaking over snow in January
A foot of snow is disruptive but people can deal with it down here. An inch of freezing rain is potentially a week without electricity.
