I love how it looks like the Great Lakes are already frozen over.
It is funny to me seeing half the country lose their shit over 2 feet of snow when we got around 4 on our property about 2 weeks back. I know they don't have the infrastructure for it and they don't have 4wheel drive cars and etc. etc. but it's still funny.
Again - it's not about the snow. It's about the fact that there's freezing rain expected for huge swathes of this storm which will absolutely decimate power lines and leave people without heating when the temps are expected to be at or below 0 F.Americans quaking over snow in January![]()
I'm makin a big ole pot of deer chili, then gonna paint models all weekend. Cozy mode primed and activated.I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Had to make a last-minute run to the store for booze and contact solution. Also got some ingredients for a big pot of jambalaya.

We could die from internet withdrawal before we die from cold.I wonder if the internet will shut down because of this.
Saw that, it looks really gross out there.Checking Google traffic to see how bad the effects are so far.

Just take a normal pizza and put it outside, bro. Be the change you want to see.Wal-Mart is out of frozen pizza. I repeat, Wal-Mart is out of frozen pizza.
Its just starting, the storm is going to pick up tonight and into tomorrow morning. What you are seeing now is the weakest part of the storm. Peak intensity is not for another 24 hours.i expected way more but there's only a few inches outside and it's not the snowmageddon i was promised
