Bleach getting a new anime series.

the series really fell apart after they saved Rukia. it suffers the same problem that most shounen anime dose with powers levels being up the ass and having a bunch of interesting characters being left out because set power level being too low or being killed off way too quickly. dropped it at the beginning of the quanciy arc since i lost interest. still remember liking alot of the filler arcs that gave the lesser impotent characters a moment to shine on screen. like the vampire one or were their swords started too rebel. it was interesting seeing the characters interact with their own powers and having some character building.

Ah the endless power ceiling? I kinda like what can be done with it like naruto with the susanoo's which are cool but yeah it really sucks with the older characters kinda seeming very insignificant.

Dumping the Burn The Witch oneshot. As much as Bleach became a hot mess that tasked both the brain and eyeballs (never have I seen an aesthetic so aggressively black-on-white-on-black since), it was nice to see Kubo's distinct artstyle again.

I stopped watching bleach after aisen was defeated. It’s not that I got tired of the show, I was just literally so satisfied with that arc’s conclusion I wasn’t interested in seeing more.

i was thinking more off the villain side. the Arrancars/espadas had it the worst. so many fights felt rushed and un-satisfying. than there is the Visored gang that did nothing (heard they play a bigger role in qunciy arc but again i drop it early)

I wonder if it'll be a straight adaptation of the arc, or if Kubo will use this chance to use his supposed 100 chapters of cut content in there. I am happy to see this, but not so much the IchiRuki shippers stating their shit again.

So is it a fresh start a la Pokemon, or is it just cutting straight to the Thousand Year Blood war? Even if the series does fall short after Aizen goes down, I have to admit I did like some of the characters and powers the Quincies had. I'll probably watch it just for old times sake.

My brother had given up all hope on there being more Bleach anime, so this caught him off-guard. He's hoping they'll make it more true to Kubo's vision instead of the rushed ending, but it's too early to tell.

I'm gonna wait for a dub, though. Johnny Yong Bosch is too iconic as Ichigo for me.
