While it's not necessarily my cup of tea anymore, as someone who was in elementary school during the early mid-to-late 90s\ early 2000s Techno\Trance\House\Electronic craze in Europe, I can't help but feel nostalgic when I hear this stuff:

Okay, I admit it, Children and Clubbed to Death are still pretty dope.

Última edición:
Lately, I've been on a late 70s/early 80s "yacht rock" binge, a.k.a. bands like Steely Dan, Toto, Doobie Brothers, etc. I've been listening to so many songs from this style that sound so familiar yet I haven't heard in ages.

Speaking of which, looks like I found where Warren G got that awesome sample from.

Did somebody say Steely Dan?

Here's a rare outtake from the Gaucho sessions.

One of the earliest songs I remember, because radio stations here frequently played it in 1999/2000. Quite mediocre, but it brings back memories.

Also, back in the very early 2000s a local TV station frequently used this track in its idents:

Heard this one a couple weeks ago. It holds up pretty well.

I became a big Shakira fan back when Laundry Service came out. I also heard this one again a few weeks ago.

I had just arrived at Burger King a few weeks ago when this came on the radio.

I remember listening to this song when I was small and dancing like a spazz to it. I never heard it again until a few years ago when I tried to search for it on a whim. It had been so long that the only bit I remembered was that "flowers on the wall" was sung low. That's it. When I heard it again I almost didn't believe it was the song from my childhood but lo, it was.

Reminded an old YouTuber used the tune in one of his game vids.

Spent all weekend with this stuck in my head, and I am pretty sure I haven't actually heard this song in 20 years. Maybe my new av reminds me of his hat.
