Well I hope this gets released before my Disney+ subscription expires ... Since I have no plans to renew it.

Oh well. I'll find a way to see it without giving Mickey Mao any more of my money regardless of whenever this thing finally comes out.

I won't pay jack shit for Disney, I'm pirating everything from them. Fuck them. I'm not paying to get fucked.

Lol fuck the price tag tbh
It was retarded when Disney did this for Mulan. If you're already paying Disney monthly for the privilege to stream their content, you shouldn't have to pay them more (and a shit ton more at that) just because they're too insecure to release it in theaters. I hope nobody here is stupid enough to pay extra for this, because (the actual quality of the Black Widow movie, which I obviously haven't seen, aside) if Disney ends up making money off of this shitty practice, then they will only continue to do it.

By all means, watch this movie if it tickles your fancy... just don't give Disney extra money for it, is all that I'm saying.

Unfortunately for me I got family who will shell out that kind of money for Disney. As they're born and breed Disney consoomers trained to consoomed more Disney shit.
I'm in a similar boat. I don't actually pay for Disney+ myself... And I honestly wouldn't. But they have no way of knowing that I don't actually live with my folks who are still paying for it. Maybe you could similarly leech off of your family's stupidity?

I never actually asked them if they paid for Mulan. I'm assuming that they didn't. It's free for everyone now though, right? I bet Black Widow will be too eventually...

Yes, Mulan came to Premier Access in September 2020 and was made available to all Disney+ subscribers in December 2020.

So I expect that Black Widow will be available in November without the additional fee.

They released a new poster too

It looks like they poorly photoshopped Scarlett's face over someone else's.

(Tbh that film wasn't bad except the climax was weird af)
They also completely wasted Gong Li.

It only makes sense if it’s cheaper to see it this way than at the the theater, like if it’s more than three people. Wait, do you need a Disney Plus account or can you just rent it like Amazon?

But why are they releasing Pixar’s Soul and Luca at no extra cost?

There's gotta be some kind of twist tho. My biggest bet is either a clone or a skrull because there is a scene in the trailer where Yelena is on a table and there is some sort of device around her forehead.

Also why would Nat be wearing Yelena's vest in Infinity War? I still don't think she is quote unquote dead tbh.

But why are they releasing Pixar’s Soul and Luca at no extra cost?
Probably because they have no faith in them. Pixar as a "brand" has been plummeting in quality for a decade. I'm not as "hooked in" to media as I used to be, but I didn't hear anybody talk about Soul other than to mention how much they thought it sucked. However they still have the reputation built during during their glory days to attract customers to the platform, so it probably just comes down to being at least partially a marketing tactic.

Marvel on the other hand is still a cash cow, especially a Marvel film with a (likable) female lead, so might as well make a buck while the opportunity is there.

Regardless, it's a poor decision if they're trying to attract potential customers who remain ambivalent, but in the short term they're going to be making hand over fist from capeshit aficionados.

I can't believe after all the god damn delays they decided to put this shit on Disney+

Who fucking cares about the Black Widow movie at this point?
Honestly. What was the point of delaying it for a year if this was the end result? Clearly Disney has issues with long-term planning.

Even with theatres opening back up, they should have known that people would be hesitant to go back.
