Has Anyone been watching this show? It is a dark take on how we rely on and use social and information technology. Written by Charlie Booker, it started in 2011 on the BBC and they have been releasing a new season every couple of years, the 3rd season was just released on Netflix. It's an anthology series, so that means every episode is it's own story. If you want to get your feet wet, I would start by watching "White Christmas", the Christmas Special. Its satirical, suspenseful and a little depressing.

Yeah the 3rd season has too much optimism. Its also the first season to be made in america. I think they were trying to appeal to a bigger audience.

I know the whole depressing thing is kinda Black Mirror's trademark, but I really liked the optimism of San Junipero. I think it's refreshing from time to time, but the show shouldn't try to do too much of it.

It was honestly my favourite of the new episodes. None of the others felt all that strong. Nosedive being the worst because I hated the main character alllll the way through. Couldn't feel anything for her by the end, positive or negative.

Shut Up and Dance was great too though.

The whole episode was just 'What if Instagram, but too much?' and yeah, Lacie was a cunt.

Haven't watched the other 2 episodes yet but the things I'm reading don't sound too good.

Futurama did it! Futurama did it!

I saw 3 random episodes (first, second and last) so far it's meh. Last and second ones were predicable.

The second one was kinda meant to be predictable, it was about a mom fearing that her daughter will leave her/die for her entire life and then it inevitably happens. They bring up Oedipus Rex in it seemingly intentionally because that's a big story about a self fulfilling prophecy based out of fear.

So I'm halfway through the new season and I'd like to put it out there that previously the only episode I flat out disliked was San Junipero. But from the first 3 episodes, I haven't liked a single one.

i liked the new season. watched every episode. that's tough for black mirror to get me to actually make me watch the show

i didnt care much for hang the dj tbh, but i liked the rest of the season

The season finale was superb, very well written and produced. Don't want to give away too many spoilers, but I hope that episode did not signal the end of the series because of some elements in the museum. That episode made me cry, the worst episode for this season was episode 5.

it started in 2011 on the BBC [/MEDIA]

Channel 4 fool!

Not watched it yet, didn't think much to Season 3 (except Shut Up And Dance, the twist was fucking amazing!) so I may not even bother.

White Bear was the best one, The Waldo Moment is the most cutting.
