About This Game
Black Lives Matter. is an extremely short, extremely minimalist "not-game" designed to evoke a sense of introspection in the player in regards to the recent tragedies happening in America. It's also a statement: silence is complacency, and being able ignore injustice is a massive privilege. We all have a responsibility to—at the very least—sit and reflect on the issues facing our world today, even if that means taking a few minutes out of time we'd otherwise spend playing games.

For the shockingly low price of ninety nine cents, you too can watch a black screen with a timer that ticks down from eight minutes and forty five seconds. This is a powerful project that people are, in no way shape or form, shitting on for their amusement.

Man, props to them for deciding to take advantage of this. If this disgusts people, but stores that sell corporate shirts with words you could, you know; write on your own shirt don't, then that just shows this isn't the right type of making money off this stuff, to those people.

Does the creator know that Google offers countdown timers not only for free, but let you decide how long you want the timer to be? Infinitely more usable, I hard a very hard time finding a recipe that called for 8:45 in the oven.

The sad thing is, they'll probably make a fair profit. if 102 people buy it, they make their license money back. Everything after that is a bonus.

They'll make their money off of outrage clicks alone.

refunds exist and every review has a playtime of about 10 minutes so no profit is to be made
