I remember reading about the black eyed kid shit years ago and kind of getting into all the stories and shit. A lot of them seemed kind of fake or exaggerated or people playing pranks. But there did seem like some genuinely creepy ones that were pretty hard to explain. In the end it kind of got all wrapped up in a lot of that mainstream conspiracy shit from the History channel and shit like that so a lot of it became even more unbelievable. I think in the end I pretty much just left it as one of those, I'll believe it if I ever see it things. But they do make for some good creepy stories that give a good spine shiver.

They aren’t literal children, they’re obviously something masquerading as children to appear feeble and to be lure people into a false sense of security to be easy prey. Thankfully for us, they can’t 100% resemble real children, hence the eyes. But obviously there are gullible individuals and those with no awareness that they manage to fool. if there are really kids running around out there with pitch black eyes just doing normal kid things, why are the stories always some kind of shit like a random unprovable chance encounter where nothing happens? if they're really living among us (lmao amogus) then how do they manage to chill when they have one immensely notable and deeply unsettling physical trait that's immediately noticeable to anybody who sees their face?

nigger who the fuck is going to be fooled by a kid with COMPLETELY PITCH BLACK EYES. that's not a gullible or awareness thing, that is a biological pattern-matching brain error. you would have to have some kind of actual neurological disorder like face blindness to not notice it. especially if they're some kind of inhuman entity that is, as the reputation goes, only able to mimic humans on a surface level (i.e. their behavior is clearly inhuman or offputting). there are literally zero people on this earth who would see a kid with black eyes making dog noises at them and think it's normal and not peculiar in any way. that's why the stories work.

Healthy skepticism is okay. But there are plenty of people who swear thoroughly with their encounters. Even more who were quiet about it until they found out others saw the same thing. There was one dude who got this entire group of people mad at him. He claimed he found an odd flute and ever since night he played it the children would show up at night. Lots of people emailed him with advice and then turned on him once it was revieled he was doing an ARG marble hornets type thing. He quit because of the rage of people. Turning their lived experiences into a theater.

Also heard one account that said when they opened their mouth they had sharp teeth and blue tongue.

You underestimate people’s stupidity, you’d be surprised how dumb people are when it comes to being far too trusting of shit that is a walking red flag.

Essentially the kids were extremely emotionally manipulative and lying, and tried however they could to get vulnerable (anyone except armed fit adult men) alone so they could swarm and kill them. They relied on adults wanting to protect kids or not seeing them as a threat to allow them to wait until advantageous situations. 10/10 movie, fucking terrifying.
