That's a good point, a cooking show is not exactly too hard to edit, and unless you massively waste food doing retakes (unnecessary considering he narrates the action) then it should be maybe 2 full work days.

It’s really fucked up that he got assaulted, and I’m sorry to hear he’s having a hard time. I hope he recovers quickly. However, surely any qualified therapist would tell him to put his phone away and step away from the Internet for a while? Having thousands of people speculating on his private life has clearly contributed to his mental health crisis. Why make posts and videos with personal details like this if the pressure of e-fame is making you feel like shit?

Came back from a long break mainly to say that after watching a few seconds of this guy, it instantly makes me wanna watch him more than Bimbish. Comes off as more of a humble guy, love him.
Agreed, some of his cutaways gags are a little dumb but he gets the spirit of silly YouTube content. So did Babish when his vids just were “Let’s make the silly recipe from tv shows.”

I've watched a few of his videos. Much of his appeal is that he makes himself relatable as an unskilled, average home chef that can't follow every single video recipe's precise instruction due to limitations on ingredients and equipment (or personal preference), but will still share his results by the end. Doesn't need any special editing or charisma, it's all pretty cut and dry.
This is why you don't go the hospital for mental health shit, especially willingly. There's a good chance you'll leave more fucked up than when you went in. Better off saving that 8k they'll charge you and put it towards an actual shrink instead
