Billy Herrington was a porn actor. If you're a fan of that one youtube series about bad gay porn acting you might recognise him for his highly tense confrontation over a leatherman who entered the wrong locker. The prior video became a meme in japan, effectively 2ch's version of bait-and-switches like rickrolling. This lead in turn lead to him not only getting his own figma, but also birthed remixes known as "gachimuchi", which were weird, wonderful, and highly homoerotic masculine pieces of art:

Recently, people from across the world would even team up to make one mega remix every year, known as the IWF, with its most recent entry coming out at the start of this year.
Needless to say for how obscure the meme was it had some insanely talented and passionate people behind it. Billy supported a lot of these creative endeavours and even became friends with some of the creators.

Unfortunately, he has lost his life in a car accident. This has been confirmed not only by people who worked with billy during his career, but also by his mother.

Not exaggerating, this death hits me harder than any of the celebrity deaths in the last few years.
 
Billy is gone but will never be forgotten. He will always be the boss of the gym in my heart.
 
I-i'm not crying! I just got some dust or something in my eye...
