Why do all these Bunjeee clones always have something to say about The Boys?

Because Chuds wanted a TV show about some militia men killing politicians and celebrities with the visuals of killing of reddit/marvel soy cape shit. Seasons 1-5 are entertaining enough to be worth the time, and if you want to continue the story it serves as a decent enough advertisement for the books. Just walk away after season 5 to avoid wasting your time, nothing of value occurs after season 5, at all.

forgive me if i’m wrong here but doesn’t season 5 butcher several characters like stannis, little finger, and baristan selmy? I haven’t watched anything past 4 since that’s when they ran out of books

I mean if that’s your personal preference that’s fine but the castration bit only occurs once and it’s a particularly sadistic character. The rest of the story is quite an entertaining drama and i’d recommend it personally. Not a lot of shows can maturely tackle a character like Jamie Lannister who’s an absolute asshole at the start of the series only for them to open up and explain why they are the way they are.

Jamie is called king slayer throughout the entire series because he killed the king he was supposed to protect, But it’s only revealed later that jamie killed him because the king was going to blow up the capital city and he’s stayed silent about it because everyone automatically judged him an evil oathbreaker when they walked into the throne room and any attempts to explain his actions to them would never work
