I'm not sure. It's supposed to visually represent children going through puberty, if said children were just different versions of Lena Dunham. It's also super butt-ugly. It's fitting for a show about puberty to look as though it had been drawn by an animator with a pen taped to his dick.

The "adult" part is what bothers me about a show that's about preteens going through puberty though. Why do adults who went through it already need to watch this and why can't they make it so actual preteens going through it can watch it?
