Why do people fucking like this?https://youtube.com/watch?v=70CN9XeDnf0
I wonder if it will outlast The Cleveland Show at this point.
I wish the show focused on the hormone monsters and it was more of an anthology series. I do like their designs. Even though they do look like furry Rogers from American Dad.The only character designs that kind of work are the Hormone Monsters.
The kids look absolutely hideous.
Wouldn't it make more sense to design the monsters to look really weird and inhuman and the kids to be as normal as possible so that the monsters stand out more?

Also Fab Five no!
Pedophiles.who is stupid enough, to like this show?
Personally I don't really mind the hideous characters. Maybe it's because I grew up on Klasky Csupo cartoons, which were pretty ugly too, but the characters' appearances don't bother me that much when I can point to popular kids' shows from the 90s that look worse.
Besides, ugly characters are the least of this show's worries.
One of the co-creators wrote for Family Guy, which should say everything.Thinking about it more, the shows humor is mostly very confusing.
This is supposed to be an exaggerated look at what it is like to go through puberty.
Things like the hormone monsters and the Shame Wizard make sense. They are personifications of things and feelings hat happen to kids during puberty.
But what the hell is up with the talking Lady Bug? Or the talking fuck pillows? Or the Ghost of Duke Ellington?
I feel like this show wants to have a bunch of rules and a structure like Inside Out did, but then throws in all this random nonsense that clashes with the rest of the show and is also not funny.

That's the episode with the 3 minute Conway Twitty segment, wasn't it?Andrew Goldberg, the dude in particular, wrote my all-time worst FG episode:

Not even the 'We don't love you like we did in 1993' bit?Yep.
I'm an easygoing guy when it comes to humor. I could laugh at least once at an FG episode.
Not that episode. I was silent for 21 minutes.

To give Family Guy some credit, they haven't done any Conway Twitty horseshit for years."Imagine how much money we'll save by using a live action clip we have the rights to instead of animating something." Possibly the lowest comedy moment of a show that's had plenty of bad whiffs.
And you just know the writer's room thought it was an Andy Kaufman-level prank where it just got funnier and funnier as the clip refused to end. Fucking assholes.
