Having watched the show myself, there are moments that made me laugh. Not going to lie, and I love some of the concepts like the Hormone Monsters and especially the Shame Wizard, which is easily my favorite idea the show has come up with (maybe that's my Catholic upbringing coming into play there, lol). And the whole idea of all the awkwardness that goes with puberty is a neat idea to tackle, and using these wacky characters to represent certain aspects of it can be fun.

That said, the show gets gross...like...super gross. South Park would have moments where the gross-out moments go too far (an undercover cop posing as a hooker, goes to town on the suspects, and then proceeds to shit semen into an evidence bag...yeah, too gross for me). Big Mouth however takes it to a degree that makes South Park look restrained. The jizz-cracker scene might be the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in a TV show, and the incestual abuse implications of it were disturbing to say the least. Oh and a young girl using a worm doll to masturbate at what? Age 6? As weird as this sounds, I get it with the 13 year olds because they are going through that age where everything is weird, but did we need to see one of them at Age 6 being like that? No, no I really didn't.

And then there are times where they try to be "random-funny" and it just leaves me scratching my head. The hell is up with the talking Ladybug they keep cutting to? Why is one of the kids having sex with pillows and succeeded in getting one pregnant? Why is the coach character dumb as bricks and why does he almost never say anything funny? These type of characters and jokes feel like they are trying to be like Family Guy with its random insanity, but Family Guy hasn't even done that well too often in the last decade at least.

Finally, I feel like I have to talk about it, but the Planned Parenthood episode was one of the most blatant pieces of propaganda I have ever seen in a TV show. I was kind of in awe while watching it. Did PP pay for this? I mean, the tone and tenor of it was similar to a PSA of some kind. "Planned Parenthood is an abortion factory!" "Well...ACUTALLY blah blah blah". Its one thing to take a stance on abortion, but to so blatantly promote an organization while only referencing any negatives as loud and angry assholes shouting "ABORTION BAD!", I can't help but feel that money was exchanged with PP to make this episode happen. And trust me, the last thing I want is organizations and interest groups promoting themselves in arts and entertainment...you know, more so than they already are.

Big Mouth is one of those "This could be awesome if they just cut out the bullshit" but that ain't going to happen, so...yeah.

Once again I completely refuse to believe anyone actually watched or enjoys Big Mouth. Even when people tell me they do.

Something about it seems so off to me, just imagine a bunch of greasy looking guys and angry single middle aged women writing and illustrating a show about kids going crazy over sex and then having a very large company aggressively promote and broadcast it to as many people as possible. Crazy, right but it's happening.

Took a look at the Big Mouth Official Twitter account and the replies are filled with a bunch of militantly "sex positive" people who love this shit because it validates their psychotic worldviews.

People will freak out if a character in a video game wears "boob armor" or an adult female character in any media shows cleavage and go on about how it only appeals to "creeps" but you can provide an endless series of grotesque animated depictions of child sexuality, that's ok and great.

Show is Jew-made. Obviously foreskin smuggling between them.

Do straight men like it? Haram.

Does it celebrate ugliness and weirdo outliers, especially repulsive sexual degenerates and their sex acts of choice? Halal.

This is why I ultimately don't watch the show, especially in regards to the frequent child nudity on the show. I've heard the argument that it's not meant to be sexual, but this is an animated show so someone had to draw it up. I don't care how non-sexual it is, that's still fucking creepy to me. And with the subject matter, I can't help but feel there's at least a couple sick fucks on the production side of things getting off to it. The tipping point for me was that one bit where the two underage girls are in the Korean bathhouse and they get naked. I felt like I'd been added to a watchlist, but this is on Netflix so it is technically legal.

The show can be funny I guess, there are times where it's occasionally clever, but it's also really creepy.

I remember this show. Watched the very first episode 2 years back.

Not a single laugh was had and I pity myself for getting "penises playing basketball" stuck in my head for a good while.
