shows succeeded before with uglier artstyles (Ren and Stimpy comes to mind)

then again, I haven't seen the full season, or even a episode for that matter; but it reminds me of early restrained Family Guy, like half the jokes is essentially Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show material that they salvaged and put to use in this show

Season 2 is out now. I've watched the first three episodes and it's not bad (even if they do double down on the creepy naked drawings in episode 2). They're committing to the outlandishness and they've introduced an interesting new character with The Shame Wizard (voiced by David fucking Thewlis).

This may be redeemed.
 
The writing in the second season is better for sure, but there are still a lot of things about this show that make me uncomfortable when I watch.

I like it for how stupid it is, but then they have a musical number with two of the young girl characters nude throughout and...yeah...

This is technically :late: AF, but I just noticed it, and nobody else has even commented on it in the past 5 pages. "Mark Levin" is a Jewish Conservative radio talk show host, in the same vein as Ben Shapiro or Sean Hannity... I saw the name and was immediately amused because that seemed totally out of character for him to produce a show like this. Unfortunately, I did some research and it's a totally different guy.

I stumbled onto that clip the other day. The first season already made me uncomfortable with the closeup of a Andrew's penis, so I stopped watching (among other reasons). Then I saw the show had two naked pubescent girls and I legit felt like I was put on a watchlist, except this was posted on Netflix's official YouTube channel.

I think what disturbs the most is that, given the show is animated, there's bound to be at least one person who has drawings of the nude underage characters. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, and I probably am, but just the idea makes me queasy, and a big part of why I don't want to watch the show.
 
Honestly I thought I was gonna hate it. But I ended up being a lot more into the overtly edgy comedy than I'm actually comfortable with. Glad season 2 came out, gonna binge it later.
 
Hoesntly it was better than the unfunny shit show that was Paradise P.D (and Paradise P.D had the recognisable voice cast I.E Tara Strong, Grey Griffin, Dana Snyder, John DiMaggio, Tom Kenny, Dave Herman, etc)
