Fair warning, I'm a luddite. I'm looking for wireless head phones that are at least under $200. I don't need anything crazy, I assume, because it's mostly for podcast type audio. please help me zoomer and zoomer adjacent.
Unless you need them for a specific reason, I would really avoid wireless headphones. Even the highest quality ones are of questionable audio quality, have tons of issues syncing to different devices, are horrifically laggy and often times break without any obvious cause.
I've got one of those Music Cozy headband sets and I'm pretty happy. Comfy for sleep (tinnitus makes sleep hard in quiet rooms), killer battery life - they're still playing when I wake up in the morning and sound quality is better than I expected. They don't seem to have as many Bluetooth issues as the three other sets I've had, either. They're good for work too because I don't have to worry about it falling into a hole I'm digging or something. And 25$ is hard to argue with.
I've tried all of them and they sound on par for the price, and I own both Sonys, both Klipschs, both Soundcores, and the Outlier.
My top 3 for audio quality would be the XM3's, the Momentum 1's, and the T5 II's.
For sweat, dust and water resistance fit for the gym or jogs go with the Sony 800N's, the T5 II's, and the Spirit X2's. The X2's in particular are a steal of a deal.
None of the Bluetooth headphones I tried were much good, losing connection when leaving the room or going outdoors. I've got unbranded cordless headphones with paired RF transmitter which have a much longer range. The RF transmitter has to be plugged into the audio source (my desktop PC).
