Best tour/show sites

Are there some good sites to search for consolidated info for shows in a specific city (e.g., if I want to find out who's coming to Tallahassee, FL, or St. Louis, MO - all genres, all venues)?

I could check my local resources (here's what's coming to....), but the best resource we used to have is now gone/turned to bilge, and the rest are basically whatever the big name media has received from pr folks - and often not included until long after tickets went on sale. Basically just want a list of everyone with tour venues announced in my city/area. Ideally sortable/filterable (and ideally including both local and larger acts, but I'll take larger if I have to choose).

I've usually used http://bandsintown.com/ but that site has the problem of adding random singer songwriters playing a set at a coffee shop or church or whatever so you do have to scroll a bit.

The best ever for that though was last.fm back in the 00s/early 10s, before they fucked their site over.

As gay as it is plus a subscription, Spotify has been better at letting me know about concerts for the past few years for practically everyone I've listened to on it.
