I'm about to drive about 2000 miles, and I want snack suggestions. We'll have a small cooler, but I'm looking for stuff that doesn't require any refrigeration or cooking.

Nuts, beef jerky, and some bananas or apples are my usual go to. With a cooler I recommend packing a lot of sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, and drinks. If you don't have any cooler space, just grab a cheap styrofoam cooler for $10 and load it up. It'll pay for itself the first time you don't grab a sandwich and soda at a gas station. To maximize space you can freeze water bottles as ice, then drink them when they unfreeze, putting in more water bottles as space affords.

I don’t know if you can get them in the US but nakd bars are my go to for eating while driving/on long journeys. The peanut butter one tastes great and being pressed they make no crumbs.

2000 miles?! I hope that pussy is good.
Bugles (preferred flavor) you can wear them on your fingers and eat as you go. If this happens to be a road trip with friends, hotdogs. Not only are they a quick snack, but a weapon that you can smack or throw at fellow roadtrippers.
