best pizza thread

Oh, man. Pizza is a double edged sword of deliciousness! I love both Hawaiian and combination ( also called supreme or deluxe) pizzas. Doesn't matter what pizza restaurant or location, I'll always order one of the two when I'm craving pizza.

I love a good aioli-chicken pizza, they're awesome.

Much like beer, I have a favorite and some I like but the best pizza is the slice in my hand.
 
As far as the major chain pizzerias go, my favorite is Meat Lover's on a pan style crust from Pizza Hut. However, my all time favorite is a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza from a local pizzeria called the Pie.

There is a regional pizza where I grew up, called the Brier Hill. It is different from the usual fare due to the thick Italian pasta sauce as opposed to a more traditional one, and there is no layer of cheese. Green bell peppers (or pepperoni, if you're weird) are baked right atop the sauce, then grated Romano added once it is finished.

Even Pizza Huts in the area will make them if you ask, though it is not on their menus. It isn't for everyone, but damned it is good.
