Vodka can be combined with just about any soda or juice that you like. Either pour a vodka shot over ice and then top the glass up with your mixer, or alternatively sip the booze and chase it with the other.

If you don't like the taste of alcohol then don't drink it. It doesn't taste like shit, it just doesn't taste like a sugary candy. If you just want a sweet soda then drink soda.

If you can actually find soju anywhere, it's been consistently the most mellow alcoholic drink I've ever had. It's a spirit, can't remember the abv but I'm sure it's fairly respectable. I could never taste the alcohol in it at all. It's korean I think so it's kinda hard to find.
An alternative suggestion, I really like amaretto for something that goes down pleasant. Kinda tastes like cherry and almonds. The abv isn't great, probably about the same as wine.
