Do we know what job Begs does? I thought it was some kind of manual labor or delivery. Or basically no kind of work where remote work would even be a question. FMLA requires employment at the company for the 12 months prior to the leave. A solid year's employment doesn't sound like the Beggy we know.

I think she worked at a nursing home for five minutes before claiming she was too depressed or sickly and had to depend on Doordashing. This was before the thyroid cancer and Dakota stuff (and even her arrest), though. As far as I recall, she was only Doordashing and depending on tips from Amberlynn tea streams for extra income prior to this. It’s ironically hard to remember when Becky drones repeatedly about how hard and miserable her life is because she’s sick and a nephew died.

Either way, Becky actually getting FMLA would be a surprise to me.

Is this the first time we're hearing of this? Or have I missed it? This doesn't bode well for the mass in her lungs, if she's already had a tumor somewhere other than the original site of the thyroid.

That’s a new one for me. At least, it made me look twice when I saw it. Also alarming that her condition is so bad that she still has to wait on the lung biopsy due to it.

I don’t see her lasting much longer if she’s healing worse than old men that drank and smoked like chimneys for their entire lives. Having possible arm tumor on top of possible lung tumor after triple bypass and holes in the chest is one helluva combination.

Just a conspiracy theory, but I think Beck is being very careful not to mention anyone around her bc I suspect Dakota, the girlfriend Beck totally definitely broke up with, is one of the ppl around and being supportive and helping with trips to the hospital.

But also b) who is "we"? When talking about insurance and home health, which Beck would qualify for individually, it's all "I". But when talking about food stamps it's "we". Like "we the household"?

I thought Beck might have been referring to the social worker. Like Beck plus the social worker are working really hard to get food stamps, but I don't think so bc home health is absolutely something a hospital social worker would actually have resources for and that wasnt "we".

This is my recollection also. Beck was working in a nursing home doing something with residents bc Beck mentioned being hit or choked by a patient. So Beck quit and did something else for a while but I think they ended up back at the nursing home. I think that's where they rear ended their parked coworker?

It's kind of hazy, but I think Beck lost that job after the subsequent arrest? Am I misremembering? From what I recall, all we know about the current job is that it doesn't pay very well but Beck claims to find it really fulfilling.

I can't figure out what kind do work Beck would be qualified to do that is very fulfilling but can also be done remotely. Like if there were a venn diagram, lots of work can be fulfilling, lots of work can be remote, but where do those two intersect with 'entry level and low skilled'?

Unless Beck is lying about one (or all) of the things she's said about her job. That's possible too.

If I'm remembering this correctly Becky no-showed on a court hearing for another car violation, and when the police came to deal with the accident they found that and took her in.

In typical Becky fashion she said it was the cop's fault because, according to Becky, the cop who pulled her over said everything was cool and told her she didn't even have to appear at court.

I think she believes FMLA sounds good for begging purposes. She hasn’t had a job long enough, or the type of job, where FMLA would be a factor. She’d need to at least work an entire year (plus a minimum of 1250 hours) at a relatively large company (minimum 75 employees) to qualify for FMLA. Beggy has not held a job for a year anywhere.

Becky has just milked Medicaid for years and it’s currently paying 100% of her medical bills. Any money she wants is for fast food, games, etc… She’d also qualify for HuD/ Section 8 housing, so probably doesn’t pay any bills beyond electricity, phone and internet.

Both of her sisters live near her, misty dawn is in her city and the other one (I didn't know there was another one), Jennifer, is like 10 miles away. Jennifer's got a good job, Misty Dawn's boyfriend has a good job, I'm assuming that Misty has stable work. None of these people can offer her a ride or provide her with assistance?

I was curious about her housing, if she was living alone, with the weird pedo girlfriend or with one of her sisters.

We always thought of Hamber as the unhealthy one, and Becky probably did too, but she was in the same death fat boat as Amber. Imagine having triple bypass and fat induced dieabeetus at 32. Becky’s genetics were not as well equipped as Amber’s for being a sedentary death fat.

Usually if someone survives a near-death health scare it gives them renewed purpose and commitment to taking care of their body, but I doubt that will happen with Becky. She will just be far more comfy tripling down on victimhood. The only change might be her becoming a born again Christian, but nothing else will change.

Oh she will get that dreamed of SSI check if she has lung cancer, real monkey paw wish fulfillment. She just wanted an SSI check for being fat and depressed, so she could sit at home all day in her pajamas watching cartoons. I bet she’s bummed the SSI check amount is the same for the fat and lazy as it is for the actual sick and dying)

I bet she's been on EBT since quitting her last real job. It's easy to qualify for SNAP (for 3 months before hitting the working hours requirement) if you have zero income and no significant assets. Here's basic guidelines for SNAP in Kentucky

Let's be honest, many Kentucky EBT recipients are illiterate and dumb as rocks, so they don't make it too hard to apply. They have social workers by phone or at various locations to help people sign up. More importantly, families with multi-generations living on government assistance help each other figure out benefits. Becky is surrounded by family and friends on SNAP.

The current govt shutdown is federal and not state governments. EBT is funded by feds, but run through state programs with their own work forces and their own rules. There hasn't been a SNAP interruption up until this week even though the national government has been shut down for a month. State EBT programs are still staffed.

But now the big money transfer isn't coming through for November, which gets transferred out to the state programs and passed on immediately to the actual beneficiaries. About half of the states (26?) aren't sending out SNAP/EBT this month as a result.

Employers can legally fire a worker if they exhaust all their leave time (including FMLA) and fail to return afterward. It's considered abandonment. 12 weeks, even for valid reasons, is a long time to disappear from a job as is. It's not like Becky would've accumulated much additional vacation time after one year (if the job was real). Sucks, but so is taking time and resources from a job needing reliable workers without so much as sending a status update.

Also can't see how she would get hired for a new job if she would disappear almost immediately afterwards from her surgical wounds getting worse (or needing more cancer treatment if the biopsy confirms that). Her prognosis isn't looking great. Look forward to her telling the world how much Amber smells for tips and/or a GoFundMe in the near future.

I think you are generalizing something you see often in your field without any evidence to apply it to Becky.

While I agree that everyone, including Becky, deserves some humanity everything Becky ever showed their entire time on YouTube indicated that she's an absolutely lazy slug.

I have never once had a coworker, friend, relative, etc who complained about the state of the world as much as Becky without them also being absolutely horrible to work with, etc (ie. the biggest source of all their problems).

Went through a much deeper thread dive than I intended. Hope it clears some details we keep debating about. This is a rough life timeline from August 2022 to yesterday that follows mostly her job and health situations mentioned in thread. Also added some Dakota details. Main trends are that besides her body breaking down and her always being her usual woeful self, Becky drops that she is starting a new job very soon every other life update. Further, in many of these, Becky is pissed at her Beggy nickname since she has no choice but to beg (often right before she drops her CashApp handle)

August 21, 2022: Job interview in a couple days. Wants to feel hopeful after being sick with Covid. Requests good vibes.
September 4, 2022: Community post announcing she's starting a new job soon. Wants to keep doing YouTube if possible.

tl;dr: Her most recently started job (by her own claim) was in January of this year. Under the requirements given for FMLA by the US Department of Labor (screenshot below), she would not have qualified even if she hadn't spent most of the year in the hospital. Regarding that, Beggy is as full of shit as her heart is full of fat. And if she was employed the whole time, her employers did done much more to help her than she deserved

She has to have worked at the place for 12 months over the last 7 years and they don’t have to be consecutive , so she may have worked there before ? and she has to have worked 156 days and there are 166 working days between January and August so I think it’s possible she could have miracled into it?
