Agreed. Each time Becky was going to her family, Amber would make one of her "poor me" videos, where she made some terrible turkey sandwiches, knowing very well that she orders most of her meals. The only thing she did for Christmas is go to a light show that you drive through. She would never stand for a parade like this. I agree that Becky is doing this because she could not before even if it is boring.I was thinking about it, and sure Becky is just going to a family member's property to film pretty trees and rocks, and she went to a small local parade, nothing to write home about surely. BUT! Can we imagine her doing those things while Amber was around?
Not only would Amber have refused to go waddling around in nature but she could never stand and watch a parade, nor would she have allowed Becky to go do something fun without her.
Becky doing these little things is Becky having the freedom to do so.
Now if she could do it and make it a little more entertaining, that'd be great.
It does irritate me a tiny bit that Becky keeps referring to where she filmed as "my family's property" like it's land attached to a manor or something, held in trust for when she comes of age.
There's a chunk of land down there that I guess I could claim as "my family's property" since it was the family farm for several generations and a cousin currently has it, but *I* have no rights to it. If driving past it I might say that I visited my aunt and uncle there back in the day as a point of interest, but that's about it.
If I had a sibling show up in my back yard and call it "family property" we'd be having a srongly worded talk about boundaries.
Forgive my nonsense today, I have work to do and I am procrastinating.
Now, now. Are we all forgetting that Lady Beggy is a direct descendant of King Edward III? That her grandmother (?) had rights to a castle in England, but (naturally) preferred to dwell in the holler? No you're right, and it's an excellent point. We already know Becky is entitled, and her passive claim to land that I'm sure she hasn't contributed a single dime in property tax to is more proof of that entitlement.

I think Lady Beggy is showing remarkable restraint in not claiming all Kentucky for the Williams clan and having the serfs dig a moat around it to keep out those big city ne'er- do- wells.
"Entitlement"! Pshaw! 'Tis merely the divine right of Kings, you peons. Get it right.
Whatever's the opposite of the Habsburg Jaw is what the Noble House of Williams has. The Habsburg Naw or whatever.
Flabsburg Dewlap. And an impressive dewlap it is.lol Flabsburg.
Many pardons...She's also descendant from not one but two Native American peoples, so maybe it is the ancestral hunting and burial grounds of the Williams Tribe and not at all obtained through based colonialism as you claim? Check your privilege sir, lest Becky "Of Many Necks" Williams summon the spirits of the Myriad Nephews to channel your undying soul into one of Amber's ballet flats.
lol Flabsburg.
Having taught social studies classes, I've discovered people who claim "lineage" here are more likely to come from the notch eared criminal lineage and the old timey nuthouse lineage than any nobility or high ranking officer class.Princes and Kings did infact, not leave the thrown, to settle The New World. They stayed in their fucking castle.
