What are some movies that you find absolutely stunning? It could be in the visuals or the way a scene is set up. Feel free to add screenshots!

For me, it's Boogie Nights. It's mainly the editing. The long takes are amazing, the colors are amazing, the music is amazing, the story is amazing. For a movie about the Golden Age of Porn, it's actually very beautiful visually as well as story-wise.

Everything about it has this 80s feel to it, from having a neon pink title screen, to having a synth-pop soundtrack. There isn't much of a plot and there's very little dialogue, most of the movie is silent and relies on the faces, expressions, actions of the actors.

A foreign animated film that feels like a throwback to 50s animation. Every character is visually exaggerated and bizarre looking, and the film also relies on more on the atmosphere and action than dialogue.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

Okay, I'm not being sarcastic, but that is one of my favorite movies, and the scene with them pigging out on a bunch of sliders is actually beautiful because they worked so hard to get there.

Godard's Breathless is an extremely beautiful film. I'm a little drunk and depressed, so I'll go into details later.

"Someday somebodies gonna make you turn around and say goodbye! And say goodbye!"

Anyway, Flashdance, Back to the Future, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.

Casablanca.

If Humphrey Bogart can make isolationist douchebaggery look pretty damn attractive (not to mention smoking), clearly, the filmmakers did something right.

Watched a movie called Sleeping Tiger Hidden Dragon in my film and media class. It is a foreign film (there's reading involved) but I thought it was a entertaining movie to watch, definetly if you're into martial arts movies
