The "clanners" don't act like actual clan mech warriors the main cast act like zoomers not indoctrinated vat grown super soldiers surviving the hell that is clan society. I hated the writing and found the gameplay to be slightly better than MW5 thanks to the added additions however the Ai is still bad and playing as clanners sucks.

I admit i am i not that deep into the lore. i played a bit of the HBS battletech and fell off. then touched mercenaries which was ok. im sure it has its faults i just like it for what it is. a budget call of duty mech thing. i have not seen any non binary trans wheelchair fat clanners yet

Exactly ejection system are needless extra tonnage that could be put to use for more ammo or other useful parts. Who needs safety measures just don't die or at least take them with you.

That's fair and the games do feel like they are for a wider audience as I understand that they want to make more money. With mods the games can feel more table top and detailed, but I understand that most people may just want "budget call of duty mech thing" even if it annoys me.

If you liked MW5, MWO would be something you'd enjoy more if you want more fast paced game play.

You don't even need mods for that. You can already fit quad ERPPCs on a Warhawk or Direwolf. [A direwolf can fit more, but that would be impractical.] It'll core most mechs in 1-2 salvos, even other omnis. [The tricky part sometimes is landing each PPC burst on the center torso and not accidentally hitting the sides.]

Nothing is as cool as an Awesome with 4 clan erppcs.

Its a brick shaped house of fuck you. Then jam even more firepower on it from the debatable most broken weapon in all BT history.

Plus it's sexy looking.

Not much to say on it other than fuck CGL.

Seen some posts by a guy named Minis & Dumbells pointing out their hypocrisy on it. CGL forced the dice company to stop making dice because they don't own the rights to BT (which CGL keeps forgetting they don't own the series either), but they're fine with Jason Livermore (the faggot that hid behind the Faith McClosky persona) using artwork & designs from BT for his own published works.

finally got bored enough to get myself MW5 clans
kinda like it so far, way faster paced than MW5 mercs, and it so easy to loose limbs. AI finally can jump over terrain to cross it and not use jets randomly in battle.
Having an actual story and characters is nice.
However, is it just me or do the faces of people look weird? like they always show teeth for no reason, and Jayden's face is so unsettling to look at, it is almost like his eyes don't belong to his face and he stole them from some asian guy. It might be intentional since all the genetic fuckery clans into it, but it doesn't make it less uncunny.

CSO artist promotes another company's product, CGL gets butthurt. CSO artist gives the 40th anniversary dice a shit review, gets an "us or them" ultimatum, artist says fuck it because the conflict of interest excuse was lame and he didn't want to let a company that didn't pay him properly dictate how he runs his shit, and apparently he had sold mech minis in the past and somehow that wasn't an issue but the dice thing is. Even though the guy had basically been promoting nothing but battletech on his shit for 3-4 years.

The teeth thing seems to be a problem across the board but the sibko characters all look completely munted.

The clanner and house lord won't tell you this but the ideal lance composition is 5 Rommels. Mechs are bloated weapons system which are designed to maximize profits for the military industrial complex. This is why Devlin Stone was killed, he threatened the money supply.

That shit can be hilariously busted if you have a VTOL flying around getting rear shots for the AIV but I've always liked cluster more. 20/10 damage and its all shots from above? You can pretty reliably headcap mechs if you get a direct hit.

My late game go-to was two mechs:
Warhawks with just 4 ERPPCs and all the remaining tonnage put into DHS and extra armor
And Direwolfs with 4 ERPPCs, 4 MPLs, and as much DHS as I could cram into it [With maxed out speed and maneuvering chassis upgrades to make it as fast as a warhawk]
