The 2042 takedown animations really felt out of place.To nitpick some more, I'm glad that knifing is better than 2042, but it's still nowhere as kino as BF3/4/1/V.

Even just unlocking C4 for recon requires you to spot TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY(250) players ON objectives.
That's uncharacteristically generous of them.
I actually had a slight bit of hope for it, but it plays like a campaign from 2007 with the amount of turret sections and linear "Follow the dude" missions. I don't know why it's so hard to just do a big map with vehicles and objectives to complete like a sandbox. Something like Mercenaries. Play into the strengths of BF instead of these half assed linear COD campaigns. I know nobody plays BF for single player, but it could be good if they played into the game's strengths and used the tools they already have.Unpopular opinion but i think Firestorm is the worst map in the game.
Also single player is garbage. Somehow worse than BF4.

That's so they can sell you the grind skips later one for $5 per classMy biggest gripe has gotta be the very obvious intent to pad player retention by making every single gun, gadget, skin, and attachment take fucking forever to unlock.
