After an amazing game of conquest the game crashed near the end because of drivers :bossman:
Welp, here I go installing brand new preview drivers!

Nevertheless, it feels great, movement has been nerfed in a good way, is still very smooth. Combat feels excellent, conquest is super chaotic but in a good way.

I expected a bait and switch on some shit, the gravedigger skin in-game reminds me of the mass effect Andromeda Protagonist with the way he's modeled.

Stuck in a loop, it just keeps booting me back to the start of the queue. It wouldn't be nearly as bad if it didn't require a manual confirmation to get rid of the error...

Might just wait it out until tomorrow, this is going nowhere

Got in, played a game of conquest, Sadly got The Iberian map instead of one that wasn't in the beta. It was fun though. Game runs smooth as fuck

Loaded into one of the shipment portal games, the map is straight up terrible. The idiot who made it didn't make more spawn zones and let people get up on top of the containers. So people would just spawn trap and kill you in one area.

Which to be fair can happen in a normal game of shipment but it normally isn't that bad and there are multiple spawn zones for everyone to spawn in.

Playing campaign right now. Very obviously rushed - I think the only difference in difficulty is the amount of revives you have. I'm playing on the hardest and it's a breeze.

You can tell they were trying to appeal to people and give them what they want, but it's still a game made by the executives who are holding the devs at gunpoint to make a game that's not shit.

Multiplayer is fun and I've yet to try portal.
 
How are the maps? The beta was kind of disappointing since I hate Operation Metro-style killboxes and was looking for more large scale vehicle and strategic gameplay. At least, as much as you could get from a BF game anyway.
 
In conquest there's a 1-minute timer that will end the game if a team controls all points, And Team Deathmatch is good, respawns are instant.

I got to play an hour or so and I have to disagree. Maybe im crazy but it feels like they slowed down overall movement form the beta which was already pretty slow. Now its a fucking slog to get anywhere. With the spawn beacon being behind a grind to lvl20+some other BS its made me super annoyed.
Still having fun with it like the beta though, ran into a chinese player who was blasting me with the shotgun form across the map so Im taking a break to make dinner instead.

They had to subvert your expectations somehow. They already had you following a black man's orders in Bad Company and BF3, so that's no longer progressive enough for them.

A black woman, though? Now that's still stunning and brave to them. The more incompetent, the better.
 
The menu is confusing me. is there a server list for portal games? I know there's one for the base maps that you can play custom game modes in. However, i haven't seen a thing for portal maps where I can find custom ones people made and are running.


So far I'm having fun with the multiplayer right now. Performance isn't bad for meat ultra-high settings. Just finagling with things right now cause the game feels a little blurry to me.
 
Some codes to play with bots to grind for full XP. You can password protect a server and kick/ban players who join your game. Doing it with some friends as we don't like being forced to play the small crappy city maps.

FInished the campaign. Enemy AI is terrible. Story only got interesting at the end, wish they got more dev time and just focused on the premise at the end rather than the first 3/4s that felt pointless
