On breakthrough as the attacking team on Railway to Golmud if you spam the jet spawn when its not up your team actively looses tickets.

Also breakthrough feels fuckin dead, no matter the map I get a fucking bot lobby and it sucks because I prefer breakthrough over conquest. It feels better around 3-5PM but I feel like I shouldn't be getting bot lobbies at anytime on a "major update" day

What outlandish skins exist in BF6 now? I haven’t been paying attention lately.
Maybe the Chinese one from the Year of the Horse bundle? They altered the Wicked Grin skin (which was bright blue) that everybody was up in arms about to the point that it's just a normal-ass looking skin now.

So far there's just nothing that outrageous, other than the pricing which is unfortunately standard fare for most games now. Better than being Fortnited though.

The mere fact that they're selling $20 skin packs in a full priced game pisses me off on it's own.

$20 skins in games is too much at any price, and it's sadly the norm. Gacha games will absolutely charge you $20 a pop for their occasionally animated jpegs, fighting games will charge you that much or more. Diablo 4 has hundreds of skins all priced at $25 minimum per skin, despite being a game where your character is tiny on the screen because you can't really play at a resolution large enough to really enjoy any finer details.

Battlefield joining call of duty in North Korea. Are North Koreans going to become the next big political correct bad guys in video games after Russians, middle easterners and the Mexican cartels?

Homefront did this a LONG time ago, but the game didn't catch on compared to the CODs and Battlefields of that day. And North Korea is used as a substitute for China, since they will ban the game if they don't like how they're depicted, as BF4 proved. And losing the South Korean market is a much smaller loss compared to losing the Chinese market.

I could not find anything about the Battlefield series and a North Korea setting. Do you have anything beside a poster?

Homefront was a good game. It had a mix of CoD run-and-gun gameplay with Battlefield's focus on vehicles and team strategy. I remember the maps being medium sized for Battlefield standards. I wish the servers were still active.

I'm here to complain about how bad the RPK 74 is in BF6. It's like a six shot kill to the body up close with low RPM, and with BF6 having such low headshot multipliers compared to other games in the series, that usually means you just die a lot even if you shoot first. I keep getting my lunch eaten by P90 users from 30m+ even if I shoot first.

Battlefield Online was just a Korean version of BF2 and/or Play4Free.

I quite enjoyed Homefront, but the campaign ended too soon. I remember enjoying it and the scale of the levels increasing until you're on a massive level on the Golden Gate Bridge. Then it was over. Didn't feel resolved or satisfying. Felt as if it was building to a final act that never came.

The multiplayer was also a decent middle ground between COD and BF but the player base didn't hang around all that long in my shitty corner of the world.

I was always curious about the openworld sequel but never played it.

Hardline's MP servers are shutting down tonight, if anyone's interested. Personally, I was a fan of the game, even if I didn't exactly get much done; taking one last look at it right now.
I tried to play before the servers shut down. All there was available was 24/7 Downtown. I wish there was more variety to choose from.
