Y’know as an Astros fan I’m lowkey glad the rangers finally got their first World Series title. Imagine, two Texas teams winning back to back in the 2022 and 2023 world series

Admittedly this World Series was kinda boring this year. I kinda wished that the Phillies were in the World Series, they would have provided more entertainment and competition to the Rangers.

Been seeing a lot of nigger cattle bitching about the regular season meaning nothing with infographics like this:


It's like people forgot that in the 40s there were still only 16 clubs and 20 by the 60s. So yes in a format where it's League Championships then World Series of course big win teams are most likely to win it all.

If people want only 100+ game winners to win the series then you'd need to downsize back under 24 teams and two divisions but no one wants that.

I thought it was a fun playoff. Not sure where all this bitching is coming from.

Just found out the last time the D-Backs were in the World Series was back in 2001 when they faced the NY Yankees. For some reason, it made me remember the fact this game also existed:

The coincidence comes in when this cover star is also a player for the Arizona Diamondbacks by the name of Luis Gonzalez. I remember that the series used to be called Triple Play, before it changed into MVP Baseball.

Now I’m wondering if anyone played this one, because to my knowledge, this is the only time I’ve ever seen a Diamondbacks player on a baseball video game cover since then.
