Finally got to start playing and sank three hours into it last night. I’m enjoying myself, but having to auto save constantly and then reload after a shitty roll is extremely annoying. Combat is about what I expected since this is DnD but having such limited movement (unless your character can dash) blows.

Not having the ability to switch between turn-based and RTwP was a mistake. I know the latter is fucking horrible in a lot of ways, but it's the only way to keep some fights from going on forever due to manuevering alone. As for rolls, you're going to have to get used to it. Unless the game has one of those cheat features for skill checks or a toybox-esque mod the Pathfinder games have. Saved me so much time I spent reloading by just having my party roll 20s for their skill checks.

I'm gonna show off my retardation and say that I don't understand the action system. I get the idea, but how actions are assigned to regular and bonus confuse me. Why is dash a main action but Misty Step is a bonus. Potions of healing is a bonus but others aren't.

They should've just let you have movement and 2 regular actions, but I don't know if that would trigger faithful DnD players.

It's because the devs want players to think strategically. If everyone got two regular actions you can bet many players are going to either attack twice (which is a feature in some martial classes already) or move in, attack, disengage, then move out. Quaffing potions as a bonus action is an upgrade from 5e rules as that uses a standard action.

If you want a game that gives you multiple actions in a turn you will want to try Pathfinder 2e, which gives you three each turn. Granted, movement counts as one of them.

My issue isn't with the bonus action itself, but what qualifies as a bonus action.

i can play this in steam sharing with my brother, yesterday i entered the character creation screen and the first thing i see is a fucking proud and strong black woman. how much woke is in this shit?

A round is supposed to be 6 seconds of real time, which is why actions are limited because how much can you really do in that short span of time? Unfortunately, the rules are influenced by the game designers and you don't have the luxury of asking a GM. Pathfinder 1E had one of their designers rule out a basic motion as a quick action (PF's bonus action) because of their fat fingers and lack of coordination. Obviously it's quite possible for a trained fighter, which these designers are not.

it has at least normal powerfantasy kill bad guy band the hottie ?
See that woke character? You can just kill them.

You can kill gay bear sex man. You can kill the tranny self-insert character. You can kill the drag queen, I'm pretty sure. You can kill the random gay people, you can systematically kill everyone with a darker skin tone if you want, so long as you do a little powergaming or put it on an easier difficulty. You'll break a lot of quests, but you can do it and still complete the game.

You can't, however, date an anime woman with late-90s lip sync. Well, I mean, I assume someone has already made a mod to make the characters look like freakish hentai women so maybe I'm speaking too soon on that.
