It just goes to show how awful playersexual romances are. Guys like Gale seem like they could be cool friends but instead they all want to fuck you and it becomes incredibly awkward. You don't just casually go back to being friends after that, the degenerate cat's out of the bag. People called it out when DA2 did it but I guess they've forgotten since then.
This was the point about complaining about the bear fucking scene that, yes, is completely avoidable. It means there are a dozen other similar things in that vein that you can't avoid. It shows that the designers think that people aren't interested in other people's lives unless they want to fuck them, and it's really immersion breaking for me.

Only just got to the goblin camp last night, half tempted to just Eldritch blast all these little fuckers into gibs but just strolling around like a big dick and flawlessly passing every intimidation check to make them grovel is somewhat endearing me to them.

I agree though that the romances are on way too much of a fast track, that or I was meant to do more side quests before coming here, because after like three fights and bullying some Tieflings Lae'zel already apparently totally misjudged me and we banged.

So far pleasantly surprised with the writing. It feels considerably less tongue in cheek than Divinity, which is nice. Cutscenes are well animated and the characters aren't too bad, except for Gale, who definitely fell in love with me and immediately started to beg me for crack. Might just kick him because I refuse to give in to druggies.

So I made it to the gith creche and wound up
stabbing my guardian between the tits just because I'm a murderous bastard and it makes my dick hard
has anyone done this and were there any practical repercussions to the story?

Also,
being both the dark urge and the commisar of future tentacle rape, get your damn hands off my Lets maggots Astarion, are you locked into doing one or the other? IE, can I be both a rapey tentacleboii and a murderous Bhaal fanatic? And does stabbing the totally-not-a-mindflayer guardian fuck up my plans to evolve my sweet, new tentacle beard?

For those of you who didn't click the story spoilers, heres an imaginary cookie, now get back to the game damn it. I will NOT be the only one whose free time has been entirely consumed in this amazing fucking game.

I despise time sensitive quests or quests that lock out others without notice. Yeah you get a warning, but locking parts of moonrise out when going to Shar's domain is fucked up because you have no clue how they relate beforehand

It does make me chuckle that in WOTR; literally every conversation has a thing at the end which is just "Die faggot!" for everyone you meet. Random orphans in the street, your own allies, people that are actively trying to explain to you what you need to do to win.

It only really makes sense if you play a CE Orc Barbarian. Which is 100% going to be my next character playthrough. Gazkull the 'Eadtaker will surely be a good choice for running the crusade.
that's going to wreck the narrative so hard
i guess galfrey just looks at your murderous ass killing everyone and decides to send you out to kill demons instead before you ruin kenabres

Can I take Raphael at level 10?
Yes, but be sure to bring lots of lightning and force damage. Radiant damage is also a surprisingly bad idea.

You miss out on a one time Bless until long rest. There's no long term consequences

you are a blessing to every kleptomaniac crpg player here
which is to say every crpg player here
I now deeply regret killing the merchant in Moonrise because I lost out on a lot of gold, and when I K/O'd a merchant in Wyrm's Rock Fortress (She isn't evil so I didnt want to kill her) I was able to loot EVERYTHING she had. RIP me.

So should I bother pirating this? Heard it shits the bed in Act 3.
I gave it a go and it's great fun if you ignore the overt coom stuff, I got stuck around 5hrs in because I kind of killed a lot of people that turned out to be essential to some quests.

The hundreds of ways you can do combat is just addictive to me. Half my focus in this game is going to detecting any chance to shove people over a high wall or bridge. It's like Hitman tier hilarious.
