Played a few hours with the full game last night.

So far great time, especially with how varied the options are. You can approach situations vastly differently and have more options play out because of it. Actual consequences to your actions, not just worthless extra dialog options that end in the same place with an illusion of choice. Also, fuck yes to being able to get rid of/kill companions that you don't want. Especially if you're doing evil or dark urge playthroughs.

If all the acts keep up the same polish, this could easily be a once in a generation game. Easily the best CRPG in 15 years.

Edit: Going to try MP with the Mrs tonight as she is actually interested after seeing me play last night

Eh, I am fine with the graphics, especially for something that is a top down isometric rpg to its core. Dragon age and Mass Effect* really were above the rest in that regard and not a standard.

The bad thing is that the face slider is really needed. I don't care about cock and balls slider as long as the rest is finely done. I could think that they just wanted to do mo-cap on a few faces and call it a day, adjusting the mocap to animation to sliders must not be easy, but still.

So far my issue is that the party selection is very inconvenient, and 3d arrow targeting is a bit messy. A different button to move and interact would been nice. Like I wanted to talk to the old lady for potions, and the character clicks on the bag, and everybody says that stealing is bad. Good thing I'm not playing a rogue thief.

Lazeal is cunty, and the Mage's "quirk" of needing to eat unique items is... it isn't a bad idea but its extremely bad for your gear. I just don't see any reason to keep him around if you got a wizard yourself. I think it should have been more an optional thing that lets the mage consume unique drops and than gain bonuses, not a basic requirement for his usage.
So far I had no troubles with Edgyheart, her likes are basically "money, pragmatic common sense, not killing kids" . Twinkward likes money, and dislikes charity. He is basically a basic bitch noble guy, but not any more annoying than the 99 others of this trope. The black warlorck guy is eh, I think he is supposed to work with the thiefling barbarian girl in tandem dynamic with you playing either, their stories are tied. Said barbarian is... well, a barbarian, and likes fights, loud talking and all that.

What I do like is that you actually get XP for avoiding fights with dialogue at least. You still skip on the loot, but at least its not "okey, goodie two shoes, you resolved the situation without a fight, here is a big fat nothing for a reward" .

Dark urge is fully customisable, a new button pops up about it under the origin. It is a bit cumbersome but you can make him look anything. My basic looked like a khornate lizard person.

WoTR I think... had you able to cuck your romance option with a whole demon brothel that hilarious gives you a bonus that's basically post nut clarity, and if you clap all the whores its permanent post nut clarity. You can also cuck the orc lesbian paladin with her white girl. I read the wiki so I may have missed something, this is second hand info. No bears though, and I may have missed something.

* I do have to point out that Mass Effect was very woke for its time.

Because the developers are degenerate tumblr users and this is their sense of humor. You may not think it is funny, and I admit I cringed more than I laughed when I first saw it, but I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say even in their minds I would assume it was meant as a joke.
The fucking squirrel dropping its nut in sheer terror of the act occuring before him should have clued you in on the idea that it is supposed to be a joke.

It was intentionally in the marketing because they knew it would drum up some discussion about BG3 prior to its release. Either that or they were genuinely short sighted and excited enough to showcase it, whatever suits I suppose.


On the other hand... Shit like this may harm the immersion for the average player more than an optional bout of brotherly bear buggering, see below.

In wotr after you do one quest for your companion they will aproach your character and wants to fuck. As far as I remember everyone is bisexual and you can fuck with everyone with no consequence in game, but to get "best ending slide" you will have to stay faithful to single character. Weirdest romance is redeemed succubus waifu and two human mutants with demonic features.
And as @Male Idiot mentioned there is demon brothel.

Also, Does this game cost 80 dollars on steam or is that just a ps5 poor boy issue? We gotta wait another month to play.

A question to people who already started playing, how limited is character customization? I have a habit of always making an old elf mage when playing RPGs, and and I'm gonna be pretty disappointed if I don't get this option.
 
The demon girl you redeem is bisexual. And honestly Camilla is such a psycho, even an avid and branded yandere lover like me like was like "Nope."

Got to the gay druid on my Drow who is totally not a hot topic poster girl I swear, but so far he made no gay antics.

I do recall that vampie boy was into females, so I guess he has to be bisexual or the fujos would declare an Unholy Poonsade upon the devs. Seriously, the guy was propably written with Darkness Dementia Raven Way in mind as his love interest beside the bear. Twinklite is like Edward and the WoTR noble cleric guy combined.

Camilla was a spoof on murderhobos in wotr, she even had the meta "cannibal human under dweller" pastiche all over her face. It's like a fishmalk.

She even murdered one of the most likeable NPCs of the TTS campaign. I'm honestly surprised nobody just yeet her into the canyon.
