I swapped over to this after I had run out of my old type given that I use peroxide as a mouth wash for a long time now and I swear to fucking Jesus himself it feels like I have body armor on my teeth. I have also looked into HAP type paste but that's not exactly the same as I do not have an enamel issue.

After 10 plus hours I ate again and I still didn't have much of anything at all stick to my teeth and they still felt freshly scrubbed after this. I don't know about thing's like granola or anything more sugary or malleable but this stuff is amazingly good.

My mother would make me brush my teeth with actual baking soda powder occasionally. It was so gnarly I felt like a dog after a bath when it was over. I still have my teeth so there's that data point for you.

Brushing teeth is a scam invented by Big Dental to sell toothpaste, floss and other dental "care". Did our ancestors brush their teeth? No. And yet their teeth were strong enough to tear open raw wildebeest. The natural enzymes in the mouth are all that is needed to break down Oreo and Hot Pocket particles, I don't care what some retard who wasted a decade of his life in dental "school" says.

please don't do this, peroxide is bad for your mouth biome and baking soda is extremely granular and will fuck up your teeth

use a nanohydroxyapatite toothpaste (with or without fluoride is your choice)
floss with textured floss like Coco Lab every morning and night and after meals if possible
chew xylitol briefly between meals
scrape your tongue

I used peroxide as mouthwash too for a little while but it didn't seem any better than normal mouthwash, just harder to find. You gotta dilute it to 2-5% first, it shouldn't be harmful with repeated use then.

Have also used baking soda toothpaste before, however I've since forsaken tooth paste altogether in favour of tooth powder. My teeth got noticeably whiter after starting it, and it's aniseed flavoured so I can even drink OJ afterwards and it will only be midly disgusting.

What are your thoughts on those sticks Africans use to brush their teeth:

Nigger, just go to the dollar store. They sell overstock of toothpaste for $1.25

Ive gotten big tubes of the purple Crest 3D Whitening tubes that normally retail for $5-7 at a fraction of the cost. Its also useful for travel cause I can grab 3oz tubes and not worry about bringing them back.

I just saw this alert sorry-
Miswak is fine, but you're still better off using a soft many bristled tooth brush. Miswak is all they have access to, and it seems magical but a brush is just better.

Switching to textured floss like burst or cocolab is also very advised imo- it doesn't cut the gums like normal floss AND it actually grabs the gunk. Also make sure you're brushing the right way.

There also exists these dental sticks from perio, and other neat stuff like MI paste. mini Dental brushes can also be useful to you if you have some larger gaps in your teeth.

Be mindful it's only advised to use whitening toothpaste once a week.
