That space is called the filtrum.

That filtrum length wouldn't be shocking before the nose job but now the nose is so small and upturned it's throwing off the proportions of her face. Also you can probably gaze at her nose hairs all the time.
Previous nose was longer and maybe straighter or even droopy, making the filtrum appear shorter. Ski-slopped noses have a lengthening effect on the filtrum.
