Awful food you love - Guilty pleasures galore

You know how in cartoons kids went "EWWW" over carrots and peas? That confused the shit out of me since I ate broccoli and vegetables since I can remember. Steamed and salted, and even Brussel sprouts.

It depends on how well people make them, it's very common to just boil broccoli and brussel sprouts which makes them far less palatable. Oven baked sprouts and broccoli is lovely as is raw personally.

Or even grilled Brussel sprouts
Mom makes a tray of vegetables in the oven. The only vegetable I don't eat is Ratatouille.

Throw some Parmesan cheese on them as well for cheesy brussel sprouts. Love them that way, or just grilled in general.
Forgot to mention: My mom loves cheese and has recently made cheese herself. She will even joke that one of her past lives was a mouse lol.
We also grow the veggies we eat...

This is a purely American thing (I don't know) but it's disgusting to spend entirely too much money on regular food? Food taste immediately better when you spend $20 on a sandwich you could have picked up for less than that if you just left your house

Edit: We were also on quarantee but don't play.

Those 5-6 dollar Junior Chicken meals at McDonalds. It's what I always get along with a large fry. Honestly their chicken burgers taste a lot better and juicier than regular hamburgers.

Little Caesar's $5 pizza and diet bepis.
When I was at my brokest, I would ration their large pizzas 2 days at a time. Two slices per meal, two meals per day. This supplemented with Mickey's Ice 40 ouncers ensured I was drunk and receiving proper caloric intake. I did this in my early 20s. If I tried that now, I would probably be dead in a month.

McDonalds.

There's a reason why they are in business, and if it's not real estate, it's their plain ol' burgers. You can't tell me ketchup, onions, a few pickles on a ground beef patty flavored just right isn't more addictive than crack some days. And then there's the cheese. That one slice fucking changes everything, holy shit. Despite all of the burger places I've been to that are higher in quality, McDonalds is a taste that can't be shaken.

Tl;dr MCDONALDS IS DA PLACE TO ROCK
The fries are the fucking best.

Those square shaped Totino's Party Pizzas.

The bane of my health and weight, but fuck, when they're fresh out of the oven and that crust is just right, it's a taste of happy...

I love me some Carl’s Jr.
Do any of your area's locations serve fried chicken? The Hardee's near me is one of the few that do that and ya know, for five buck two piece combo, it's a pretty decent lunch

I really like all the different types of macaroni and cheese that you can make in the microwave. Both frozen ones and the ones where you add water.
It can't be good for me to eat it, but there's something really comforting about eating really shitty food sometimes.

Maybe once every couple of months I'll get one of those Spicy Bite hot dogs at 7/11. I try not to think of the downer cows they are likely made of. I also like the inexpensive dry shitty lemon hand pies but I don't let myself get them because I'd get fat.

McDonald's was doing 2 McDoubles for $3 for a while there and I'm ashamed to say the absolute fucking value allowed me to justify eating those several times a month.
