So we have a CODE RED up in our midst: Apparently, crucial moments of Avengers: Endgame have leaked (via recorded footage from a phone). The whole movie is probably sure to follow at some point soon. Speculation is that the person who leaked the footage was someone working on the theatrical releases for another country and doing the subtitle work for it (since Disney has sent copies of the movie to other countries to work on translations at this point).

The footage can easily be found on YouTube. I know nothing about what's in the footage, because I refuse to be spoiled. But reddit forms have been 100% confirming that the footage is legit. It's only 4-5 minutes worth, but they certainly show moments that have made people say a collective "HOLY SHIT."

Thus begins my social media blackout. It happened much sooner than I anticipated.

I am no Brie Larson fan (outside of her legitimately fantastic performance in Room), but I was initially writing this interview with Hemsworth off because I thought that fanboys were probably overreacting to it? Every Marvel actor has bantered with each other in interviews, after all. Look at the way Anthony Mackie talks about Tom Holland, for example; it's fucking hilarious, and you can easily see that it's all in good fun:

I watched the interview in question and was left quite uncomfortable and irritated. Good cringe material, I'd say. lol. You can read Hemsworth's body language and tell that he ain't happy to be there with her. You can easily see that at one point while Larson is talking, he rolls his eyes.

Also, when it comes to "actors doing their own stunts," being compared to Tom Cruise is a fucking compliment, Brie. Just sayin'. The man is almost 60, and the stuntwork he recently did in the latest Mission Impossible movie has rightfully earned everyone's praise.

Actors constantly crow about doing their own stunts so they can get fawning praise from media outlets for being brave and caring about the quality of the finished product. Intentional dig or not, Hemsworth downplaying that by saying she wants to be like Tom Cruise is the perfect blow to her fragile ego.

Saw the leaked footage and

Looks quite fun.
  1. The Two Hulks look fun
  2. Who was Cap fighting on the bridge?
  3. Badass moment with all the Marvel heroes. That's gonna be a treat in the cinema.
  4. Captain Marvel & Spidey have a scene.
  5. Why does Thor grow his beard back out so sudden?

And for those who come in late and don't mind a little light reading...

he separate clips confirm a number of the alleged plot spoilers leaked to Reddit earlier this year.

The clip opens with Captain America working with Professor Hulk, Ant-Man, and Black Widow. It seemingly confirms that time travel will be happening in Endgame as Professor Hulk jokes that he might lose Ant-Man in the 1950s. It appears they are working on a time travel device.

The video then switches over to a new clip where Professor Hulk embraces an extremely bearded Thor who is delighted to see him. He then gives Rocket Raccoon a noogie. Korg and Miek also make a cameo in the scene.

It then transitions to another scene with Tony Stark carrying some tubes as we see Rocket working on a huge contraption that might be the time travel device. Bearded Thor is there and he appears drunk as a skunk. We then get a glimpse of the white suits scene in the trailers.

The next clip takes the Avengers back to the Battle of New York from the first Avengers movie. We get a new shot of Hulk destroying some of the Chitauri.

Following that scene there appears to a scene of Captain America fighting against Captain America.

Then we get a huge spoiler. Hulk puts on an Iron Man technology Infinity Gauntlet that appears to have all of the Infinity Stones equipped. The Infinity Gauntlet appears to be damaging him as he’s unable to manage the power.

The next clip shows the Avengers fighting Thanos. Thor is still bearded and charges with Stormbreaker while Iron man takes to the skies and launches an attack from above. Captain America is also there and joins in the fray. Thanos deflects the attacks with his double bladed sword.

Bearded Thor

The clip cuts to Hulk appearing to get crushed underneath a building that is sinking into a pool of water. Cut back to the Thanos where Captain America appears to be wielding Mjolnir and is using it to give Thanos a beating. At one point he tosses his shield in the air and then throws Mjolnir for a double whammy attack on Thanos. We get quite a bit of Captain America beating up on Thanos.

Following what appears to be Captain America’s victory over Thanos, Sam Wilson’s voice is heard. He tells Captain America, “On your left.” Winter Soldier fans will remember that line. As Captain America turns a portal appears to open and three figures emerge they include Black Panther, Shuri, and Okoye. Sam then flies out.

The scene then cuts to Thanos without his helm, but in his full armor. It shows an entire army of Avengers lined up against him. Captain America shouts, “Avengers Assemble!” A massive army of Avengers that includes the Valkyries charge to take on Thanos.

Thanos has his own army including members of the Black Order that take the field and charge the Avengers and their army.

We then get a shot of Iron Man embracing Spider-Man. It’s hard to make out what he says, but he does say, “we died.” It’s an emotional embrace and definitely a callback to Spider-Man’s dusting in Avengers: Infinity War.

The next scene shows Thanos’ ship in ruins as it comes crashing down. Captain Marvel rises from the ashes, and she no longer has her long hair. In fact, it appears to be in a pixie cut.

2019.04.16-02.29-boundingintocomics-5cb53e14813bd.jpg

Captain Marvel then meets Peter Parker and states, “Hey, Peter Parker! You’ve got something for me?” It appears he has the Infinity Gauntlet. But before he is able to give it to her, an army of Chitauri is charging at them.

The video then ends.

It’s unclear if these scenes are in order. But one thing appears clear. The Avengers find a way to resurrect their fallen foes and possibly even more. In fact, their might be multiple versions of the Avengers on that field. We know there were at least two Hulks in the callback to the original Avengers scene and Captain America appeared to be fighting himself in one scene.

What do you make of these scenes? Do you think these are legit scenes that we will see in the movie or could they have been scenes that were cut from the movie? Do you have any theories based off of these clips?

Well as long as the original members still make a big sacrifice, and don't bring all the dead characters who died in previous films. Because if Quicksilver appears alive that'd be the biggest copout of the century.

I'm wryly amused that, after all that hype and secrecy and fanfare, the Mouse still let some rich Saudis see it early and casually leak the whole thing on Youtube.

IMO I think this info "leak" may have been intentional. If true.

AFAIK the Mouse is Generally very good with keeping secrets and spoilers. So it seems odd that this is the movie that gets a supposed major leak online.

Rich Saudi's, Avengers, Disney, kids, Mickey Mouse. You know what this means? Pizza Gate part 2: the Legend of Curly's Gold.

So I came here because I couldn't find the damn footage anywhere. Reddit is not allowing the footage to be linked - can't find it on Youtube. Even articles talking about it don't link to it.

But I finally found the leaked footage from a site we all belove the most.

SPOILERS
sound's kinda borked but here's a copy from there backed up for around here
Basically everybody gets everybody else's powers?

I'm surprised at how much people are hissing at each other over this meme.
Some people seem to be shocked at the idea that people watching in a movie theater want the audience to shut up during a movie. Other want to be snarky assholes over it, with logic like "yes, don't let your children remind the adults who this movie is meant for" - and I totally get it, but jesus, some people are bizarrely defensive over the idea of being quiet during a movie.

Jesus Christ, is it really that hard for people to be polite so that others can enjoy the movie?

Gonna be honest in saying that after Endgame my interest in the MCU is pretty much gone. I'll see Spiderman FFH and Guardians 3 whenever that comes out, but after those I'm pretty much done.
