Plot twist: Thanos is hiding in Tibet, and The Avengers must team up with the People's Liberation Army and Huawei Corporation to stop him. All the quips are crudely replaced in post-production with diatribes about Tibetans being a degenerate insect race with no legitimate claim to self-determination, because they descend from the wrong wind ghosts or whatever.

All I can say is that I look forward to Endgame because I can finally close the book on the MCU. One of my chief concerns about the concept of the cinematic universe is that it took over a decade to complete an arc. I don't really have the inclination to stay around the MCU that long because--frankly--I feel like I have outgrown it and don't see a need to commit to watching every film.

I mean, I would come back to watch a GOOD Fantastic Four film, but you cannot get me to give a damn about the Eternals.

First off, loved the trailer. I love the marketing for this movie; they ain't showing much, and that's a good thing.

I love where Tony's character arc is going with this. He became Iron Man by using his intelligence to get out of captivity. He's going to need to do the same in space. Love it. Absolutely love it.

In regards to Captain Marvel's place in this film, I am cautiously optimistic after hearing an interview from the Russos from last year (I found this interview last night, actually). Some nerd asked them about Adam Warlock, and they confirmed that he will not be a part of the movie. After the Russos confirmed this and acknowledged that it wasn't going to go down like the comics, the nerd then asked "How are the remaining Avengers going to win then?"

The Russos then responded with an answer that makes me happy: "We're not going to have some new, overpowered character be the one to defeat Thanos. We're going to ask the audience to root for the characters that they've grown to love over the past decade."

Hopefully the Russos won't go back on their word just because a "strong wamen character" is in play now. Seriously, once Thanos is done, my excitement for the MCU isn't going to be anywhere near this strong. I'll still check out Spidey movies, but other than that? I feel like this is truly the end of the franchise. Would be a real damn shame if they dropped the ball on this one.

Well I think the Russos will deliver as they haven't let us down yet as now it is time to bring this MCU ball in for the game winning touchdown in the 4th quarter, lets hope they don't fumble though it is alot to ask to tie everything together for the grande finale. Though it is strange to think that all of this started 11 years ago when I was but a teenager going to see a kickass Ironman film and then went go get some Heroclix to go along with it.

The stuff that they are developing for the next "phase" does seem a bit baffling. I think the best case scenario is that we'll get a couple of surprises like Guardians and Black Panther. I get the feeling that if one or two of these solo debut movies falter, they are going to either fast track an X-men reboot or dump an ocean of money on Robert Downey Jr's feet

Going by his performance in Infinity War, I don't think any amount of money is going to get RDJ back for another appearance as Tony Stark. He's been making insane cash off these films and doesn't need them for his ongoing career.
I get the same vibe from Boseman re: anything after Black Panther 2 but I don't know how many movies the Mouse has in his contract or if they'll even let him go when it expires, as that movie made gangbusters.

I'm waiting for everyone to die, not only because I won't have to deal with the crowds, but it also means that I don't have to pay them. Granted it will probably be a son of bitch to set up a theater for a screening when you don't know how and you're the only person on Earth, but once I do by god will it be epic I'm sure.

(For a more serious answer I haven't seen anything from Marvel as I'm a very uncultured swine, so I'm most certainly not going to see it anytime soon, not until i bother to catch up on everything else from them. Also doesn't help for them that I don't go to theaters, never have, never will, because those places sound like AIDS fountains to me, and personally I'm not interested in such faggotry.

Fuck no, I'm keeping my shekels they killed Tobey Maguire in the last one and made my little brother cry.

The last Marvel thing I've watched was Doctor Strange, which was quite different from most of those as there was a clear character arc there, it would still be a movie if you took the special effects out. I haven't seen the last 3 [or 5, or more, I have no fucking clue at this point] Marvel movies,

I'll probably just pirate the movie like I do most marvel films. Hoping Ant-Man goes into a moist booty and gets to work
