She nods though, and slowly turns around, only to start running when she’s almost out of frame. And you see the dude looking in the direction of the attacker.

Maybe I’m wrong, but on the video it looks like they let her go.

I still can't get over the fact that they let the woman with the hijab go. You can see it at the beginning of the video - she just nods and walks away while the guy is about to get shotgunned.
She wasn't even fully veiled and outside alone without a male escort. By all "radical" standards, she wasn't a true Muslim, so what gives?
