I have never bought or sold to or from SD Bullion, but I am sure some one has in this thread. I stumbled on this Video and am asking the thread is this guys claims legit?

Will watch the video later, but I have purchased from SD Bullion many times and had zero issues. I don't read their newsletters - just pay attention to their emails offering at spot deals.

I was at the local jewelry store. I wanted to have ring made.

I was gonna recycle one of my grandmas ugly rings (think 70s cocktail rings)

I fucking misplaced the ring.

But I have, other of grandmas rings. So I just take the bag of grandmas jewelry. (if you didnt know she isnt with us anymore :()

And I figure I will just find another one to melt down to be recast into a new ring.

So I pull out the baggie at the jewelry store and I ll give the dude credit he neg on my how I wouldnt wear woman shit. So when we put the jewelry on the scale it was 80 pennyweights. Granted there were jewels and shit on it. along with the watch stuff. So its maybe 4000 and change. Then I get the whole "thats money in your pocket you can spend!"

All I can think is "yeah i loved my grandma and I d rather just have her jewelry." Because I am a sentimental faggot.

The ring with the black stone is getting remade while the smaller ring with the opel was the one I misplaced, found it when i got home.

About 3-4 years ago, the precious metal buying/selling subreddit was about a 50/50 mix of people wanting to buy and people wanting to sell. Now it's almost all people wanting to sell, many below spot, and the few people trying to buy are looking for highly specific things for their collections. Lots of people thinking this is the peak and they're trying to get out while the money's good.

I'd be curious how many are being forced to liquidate due to other financial stresses, as opposed to trying to time the metals markets. If you're struggling to pay rent, and your buy in for silver was sub 30 dollars or gold sub 1400, I couldn't fault you for cashing in now and taking the pressure off.

Family issues happened so i haven't been able to buy gold or silver for a long time.

thankfully i could help fix family issues without selling any either.

I look forward to buying more soon.

A lot of people were buying gold on credit from Costco, or through online dealers (like Pure, which I've mentioned) and were reselling it. This was easy money when gold and silver were going up in a straight line. Now they are losing their shirts. I'm surprised they aren't complaining that there isn't a money back guarantee at the dealer.

The euro/dollar peak maybe.

It amaze me how little people understand double-entry accounting and fractional banking.

Was Spot cleaning my old house cause I got tenants about to move in, I was going over the Hvac vents with a shop vac and hear a clunk clunk clunk clunk,

Holy shit 12 tubes of 1 once 2012 I oz buffalo's I forgot about......... hahahaha When I started stacking I git the shit like a dog and like a dog forgot where I burried it ..

For a while I was obsessed with reclaiming gold from old computer boards/processors.
I even found the recipe to make aqua regia which is one of the few solutions that will break down gold and other noble metals.
I saved up a bunch of shit to process and then never got to it.
I still have a shitload of stuff too, lol.
Some B2B sites sell old computer waste in bulk, as long as you're OK with receiving a bunch of salvage from a third world country

I have some reichs marks and a silver 5 chf coin. I thought I also had a silver mussolini coin but alas i was cucked. always bring a magnet :'(
Im too scared to buy gold. It's too expensive.
I feel the afraid to buy right now, I been wanting to get into gold but I feel we have a long ways down to go, so I am stacking liquidity.

Its not profitable to Recycle Silver Copper or Gold from electronics, its such a small amount you cannot pay employees to retrieve it at a profit. Many have tried at minimum wage that cater to Convict work programs paying under minimum wage but not yet.

One I heard is that people are liquidating everything they possibly can to shovel it into the SpaceX IPO
Ooh could be. I was thinking that explained the last few days of 1-2% down in tech stocks, but could also extend to Gold as you suggest.
Now that you mention it, a lot of people got into G / S with the hype run going over the last year. I can see a lot of them getting out bc of momentum dropping and better opportunities in equities.

I can see it continue w/ Anthropic and OpenAI IPOs if SpaceX isn't a complete and utter disaster
