He might plan each arc but there's no "grand plan" as to how to end the story he started 23 years ago.

The best animes are like Ping Pong, FMA(:B) or Assassination Classroom, where there's a definite ending to the show instead of it just dragging on, IMO.

The worst are ones that just keep going on forever or shit like Tamako Market where stuff happens but nothing changes. Change my mind.
