This also pissed off Alyssa Mercante, making an anti-gamer Kotaku clickbait article (Archive) about it while being racist to the Japanese gamers offended over Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The "death threat" that she suddenly received.

And here's a bonus of Alyssa's favorite male ally cuckold Jake Steinberg calling gamers "GamerGate manbabies" over the Ubisoft apology.

EDIT: And another of Alyssa's favorite male ally cuckold, GreenEggzAndCam. Such a soyboy beta cuck he literally is.

Does she know about Ubisoft's several workplace allegations?

I find feminists and other progressive types feverishly defending Ubisoft very funny.

Weren't they one of the tech companies that were infamous for having a very rape and sexual harassment filled workplace?

Yes but then they promoted a big black gay samurai killing native Japanese to hip-hop music while the commonfolk bowed every time he passed, so it's all good in their eyes.

Ubisoft will not be able to fool the Japanese Goverment with this (or anyone for that matter). They have been selling AC as somewhat historically accurate since the beginning and had a historical sightseeing mode since Origins. They brought historical fanfic writers and tried to pass them off as actual historians. There is no scenario in which Ubisoft can escape the backlash this time.

The excuse for Assassin's Creed being "historical fiction" doesn't work anymore when Ubisoft has publicly made its creative directive to force diversity down people's throats. The intent of this is pure whitewashing of history.
Historical fiction is usually adding some shit on top of the history to add conflict. Not to just switch around races for political points.

all major Game companies are like this, they dont practice what they preach, they want laws for poors but not them

Ubisoft in general hasnt made a decent game since AC Odyssey (but still far from the best AC Game), companies like Ubisoft don't want to deal with criticism and accuse their own customer bases of harassment at the slightest bit of it, Rich People have to be some of the most fragile motherfuckers on the planet

I'd still buy and 100% valhalla if it was on steam with achievements, but they made a point out of leaving the achievements off steam
If you really really have to buy an Assassin's Creed game buy Odyssey instead. Even though I hate Ubisoft I'll be honest and admit it's a pretty enjoyable game, it's also the last Assassin's Creed game with a female MC that doesn't look like a foot.

Valhalla is very very bland and very boring game with awful characters and dialogue.

With Vortex and the collections feature on Nexus a $5 copy of Skyrim will give you a much much better and more enjoyable Viking power fantasy.

Its also got a Jeremy Soule soundtrack, which is something Ubisoft doesn't have since he costs money.

Nearly all your criticism of Valhalla can be applied to Odyssey. At least enemies die in less than 5 mins in Valhalla and you can actually 1-shot people with the hidden blade.

I don't really recommend playing either. If you really really want an open world game with a bazillion outposts and bandit camps and floaty combat GOT has a pretty good PC port, I'm pretty sick of these games but it's considerably better than any recent Assassin's Creed game.
