I used to know a skelly who was almost as bad as Ashley including the spite and having been a skelly for more years than you'd think possible, she can't have had many pounds more on her body, just enough that her face looked more human and not quite like a skull but that was probably because she was a purging anorexic plus being an alcoholic so the saliva glands gave her face fullness.
But what I wanted to say was that this woman had several heart attacks and each time she was scared shitless that she was going to die, in total panic of death. Yet she would never comply with treatment or lift a finger to get better from her eating disorder, but she was in real fear of death every time her heart told her enough is enough.
Have no clue where she is today, if she's survived or not.
 
I've been thinking about her today and how, like Cobes, she was like a relic of an older internet. The fact that someone with such a significant, lengthy internet presence who was the subject of decade-long attention from the lolcow community could still be anonymous in a way - and in fact sufficiently anonymous that rumors of her demise cannot be easily validated - also feels like a relic of an older time.

I’ve also compared her to Cobes but in how different the reaction is. If you’re a weirdo but a good person, people will grieve.

Cobes was at least genuinely entertaining. I dipped into this thread occasionally to see if she was still alive, and if so, how much more weight she had lost. Other than that, she had no real content.

If anything, she realized there was a lot she could have done to stop it before she went into the terminal spiral, but by the time she realized it, that opportunity had passed. I think she realized it was all over and all hope was gone.

I've never been able to get into the mindset of one of these skellies and understand it, but I think on some level they always think there's some way out.

I knew a semi-skelly like this too, she actually did take medical advice and get her shit together. She now has a successful career and looks normal. I would sometimes feed her a spinach salad with something like a pound of bacon in it (including the grease) at gatherings. Just to get some food (and specifically fat) in her. Not a gf, just a friend who was a girl.

NOt sure if there is anything here but she posted that it was like 100f on Oct '24. That fits better with Florida and not Nevada, right? Miiiight help narrow down location as I doubt she would have moved in the last year

Both Florida and Nevada are pretty hot in October. That said, I think she is in Florida.

Nope. Last year it hit well over 100F around Las Vegas in October. Regions around Las Vegas were experiencing 107-110F. By late October it swung violently down into the 70F range, though.

Nevada can be a burning hell on the face of this planet - it simply loses to Florida's humidity owing to being a dry desert.

2024's summer was brutal in a lot of the US, and for the southern states (I'm including Nevada there because it's a desert) fall doesn't usually start in September. Heat through mid-late October is not unheard of.

In 2024 Florida had Hurricane Helene at the end of September and Hurricane Milton less than two weeks later, both of which cooled the area to below normal temperatures for the time. It wasn't over 100 degrees in October in Orlando, and you'd think she'd have mentioned the storms. That makes it sound much more like she was in Nevada.

South Florida would've been a great place for her because of all the Haitians with their voodoo and the Cubans with their Santeria and Palo Mayombe witchcraft. Ashley could've helped them read the bones just by walking a couple steps in front of them.

And how convenient to have a human bone alter without having to rob graves. You just send an Uber to pick her up. You don't even need the cauldron for the skull. Ask her to put a bowl on her head for a minute while you say the spell, done!
 
Looked through her TikTok but found only two potential clues to her location 1) a video about getting a product from Lush, (located in both Vegas and Orlando) and 2) a giant cockroach on the ceiling which isn't helpful at all. I've spent time in both states and I would say the style of the shitty apartment in her 2024 videos reminds me more of Nevada than Florida but that's a very tenuous speculation. https://www.tiktok.com/@emptyattic182
