On an unrelated note how does Ashley still have relatively okay teeth? Usually people who binge and purge have awful teeth and halitosis because the stomach acid rots away the enamel. Does she brush her teeth after purging?

Ashley's teeth are atrocious. And on a semi-related note, brushing your teeth soon after purging actually does more harm than good, since it just scrubs the stomach acid into your teeth.

I dunno, you're gonna have a hard time convincing me that starving yourself slowly indicates enough of a sound mind to pull a manipulation off.
