I'm a big fan of crude and messy styles. Perhaps its because I mostly draw post-apocalyptic stuff. As such, the concept art of Borderlands really appeals to me:
Another favorite of mine is Adam Adamowicz, who was the only person doing art for Fallout 3. The visual design of Fallout from Fallout 3 onward was his doing.

The dude did pretty much everything in markers and I think some contes. Basically, if forced him to work with any mistakes, and while not everything is perfect, the style really does it for me.

I've always been a big fan of John Kricfalusi's work.
I also love old Hanna-Barbera superhero show concept art (ex. Space Ghost)
and Jim Mahfood's art was a big inspiration for me, I love his sharp artwork.

Toriyama's early shit in Chrono Trigger and Dragon Ball, Early Disney (think pie-eye,) Lyndecker, Don't Starve, the Mother series, Legend of Mana, and a lot of the concept art for the Fallout games are some of my faves.
Ngl I kind of liked the blocky woodcut look of Book of Life and the surreal by simple Moomin stuff, too, although I wouldn't mimic it.

I've been playing guitar for about 9 years now. Got burned out a few months ago and stopped playing, but ended up discovering Ishiwatari's music in Guilty Gear Xrd. Shit motivated me to get back to playing.

Definitely Suehiro Maruo and Watanabe Wataru for me. I'm also fond of the artstyle and character design in Mononoke, the anime. And Studio Ghibli! I love many artstyles, but these come up right away.
I love the dark contrast that Suehiro uses. His artstyle is a nice combination of anime and realism.
Many people are put off by this strange, characteristic artstyle at first. They can't look past the messy lines and weird faces, but that's what makes this sports manga so interesting. Watanabe has no trouble breaking the boundaries of what is pretty or not in favor of intensifying the feelings in a scene. Not to mention that the characters are all very distinctly different and easily recognizable, and this artstyle allows for many different designs. No sameface to be seen in this manga. My heart starts beating faster whenever I look at it.
The artstyle of Mononoke is unlike any other I've seen before. Its use of textures add personality to the animation, and the character designs are very unique. Expected from an anime centering around a youkai hunter, it's not afraid to exaggerate and make things "ugly" to make them interesting. While the stories may be a little confusing at first, the artstyle really fits them.

I suppose it's kind of cliche by now, but I've always been a fan of pin-up art, since I first saw it in a calendar at a garage of one of my dad's friends, when I was a kid, and girls were only just beginning to become interesting to me. I own several art books and prints of it. Some of my favorite artists are:
Gil Elvgren, who is probably the most famous pin-up painter. If you've seen a random "classic" pin-up somewhere, chances are, it was drawn by him

Another favorite is Alberto Vargas, whose style was typically more risque than Elvgren (many of his pin-ups show full breasts, while Elvgren typically covered the breasts in creative ways)
And probably my favorite modern pin-up artist is Ant Lucia
He's mainly famous for designing the DC Bombshells, which started as a line of collectible statues and eventually got their own comic book series
And of course, my other "modern" favorite is Olivia de Berardinis

i adore Peter Deligdisch's ink work. strange guy, but he gets super creative with his youtube videos. he's always doing something new

Growing up Catholic, I have a fondness for Gothic Era religious artwork. Both for paintings

It's got a distinct medieval feel which I just love. When the Renaissance rolled around, similar scenes in artwork became too clean and "real" There's an ancient-feeling divinity to Gothic art which I just don't see in Renaissance stuff. Plus it gets distracting when you realize every artist used some local fat rich girl to model as the Virgin Mary or Aphrodite or whoever.

Those examples are just as beautiful as the Goth's architecture achievements, which I am a huge fan of. There is so much going on and so much subtext in the first example you posted that I don't know even where to begin dissecting it. Ruan Jia is an art god in my book. Could probably make a decent wage if I drew half as good as him.

Yoshitoshi ABe has the best piece tbh. I really dig that relaxing color scheme going on, plus that Barbecue-like scene is pleasing.
