When Arthur memes come back I want a shop of Muffy being one of the lawyers pointing a gun at the protesters

The left is falling into the same pitfalls as conservatives in the sixties and fifties. The counter culture of the sixties and seventies was caused by a combination of decades of African Americans being as second class citizens and the conservatives pushing conformity a bit too hard during the fifties. The harder the leftist agenda is pushed the quicker and more vocal the counterculture will become

As other posts have stated, how does the allegory of racism work this series has never established the racial or ethical background of characters with the exception of a Christmas special (more on in a bit)? It was not set up like what the graphic novel, Maus, did for the Holocaust.

The aforementioned Christmas special, which came out in 2000, was the only time it revealed these traits. And it was only two of the main cast with Francine being Jewish and Brain's family is of African descent, I guess, since they were celebrating Kwanzaa.

I think there were subtle hints before that Francine was Jewish, given her surname "Frensky" is the kind of name that could be either Ashkenazim or Polish in origin. I also remember seeing an episode as a kid where Francine was at a Bar Mitzvah for her cousin. That was probably in the early 2000's though.

I'm honestly surprised Arthur is still around. I thought the final season was last year.

Iirc you see Francine singing something jewish in front of a menorah and Steven Crowder celebrating Kwanzaa in the chiristmas episode.

I have to say that I’m not surprised, given the way Ratburn speaks has made me think he was never really straight to begin with.
Props to Arthur for handling it in a good way (which it notably has for mature themes) and not making a huge deal out of it. It makes me think back to the Postcards from Buster episode with the two moms (which never mentioned the obvious, yet still got shitcanned).
OH NO HE'S HOT

Last episode was Arthur and the gang grown up, and Francine is a stereotypical dyke. lol

Why tf does Arthur have hair out of nowhere. Also with the bionic bunny shirt and the chin fuzz he looks like a soyjack

I liked this depiction of them grown up better, where everyone is infinitely more chad.

I'm kind of sad the show is ending but I'm pissed off at the current team for inserting woke agenda into the show- with the gay wedding, mask promoting, and BLM propaganda. They should of let this fucking show die with a shred of dignity.

I did a double check to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Unfortunately I wasn't! When was Francine interested in fashion? I thought she was a jock who's main interests was sports and not caring how she looked. Of course I haven't seen the show since it was the late 90's early 00's.

The one thing I liked about the ending was Arthur writing a story about how he got his glasses, which was coincidentally the first episode. Of memories.

Early 2000s culture was so superior to today's that it's painful.

I often wonder if the fundamental issue with the modern world is simply a fundamental lack of intelligence, everything has been so dumbed down over the years, once upon a time a show like Arthur could tackle a heavy issue in a good way, but people are simply less intelligent now than they were back then.
People said the same thing years ago with shit like Jersey Shore and other reality TV shit from the 2000's.
Steven Crowder celebrating Kwanzaa in the chiristmas episode.
It's funny because no one actually celebrated Kwanza
